Nope, it wasn’t in the rns or the webcast and they said more on the matter in those than they did in the annual report.

Refer to the quote I highlighted in my response to sangi, I took it from the rns that they released about reaching the RCC endpoint early. What they say in that rns is what they said in the rcc webcast and that is the extent of what they have said on the matter.

There is a big difference between 4D saying that they are going to discuss the matter with their advisory board and the claim you are making that they are/have been developing a trial. Until 4D state that they are or have developed a phase 3 trial for rcc then what you are claiming as factual is actually just speculation.

Also, the quote you highlight from the September ’21 half year report rns makes no mention of rcc. You can speculate they might be referring to rcc but again it’s just that, speculation.

I’m all for speculation supported by good reasoning but the thrust of the argument you were making in your post is that we don't need to speculate yet that is precisely what you yourself are doing.

In the rns and on the webcast they said that they will discuss the development path and a potential pivotal study in ici refractory rcc with their advisory board.

That's as far as they've gone in what they've said in relation to a potential pivotal study.

Happy to stand corrected if someone can point and link to where they have said anything different to that.

You can also try reading the 2021 report. This is taken from the financial review section (current outlook), note the last sentence.

"We currently anticipate that we will require approximately £20.4 million for research and development activities over the course of the next 18 months based on the execution of existing programs but also dependent on exchange rates. We also anticipate that we will require approximately £13.7 million for general and administrative costs over such 18-month period, which consists primarily of expenditures for staff costs, legal and other professional fees and other administrative expenses. We also anticipate receiving approximately £7.2 million in cash for research and development tax credit refunds over this 18-month period and to make around £1.7 million on payments towards loans and interest during this period."

Not an issue when it’s only them at that level but one to keep an eye on.

I meant to add, I wouldn't be surprised if in their conversations with Oxford they explore the possibility of increasing the value of the agreement. It's pretty clear 4D don't want to be raising with the SP down where it is currently so if Oxford are game increasing the loan could be a reasonable move.

Michael is correct on this. In the IG interview DP didn't say they have met all milestones. He was asked if the renal group was one of the Oxford milestones and it was that to which he said yes. He added that they are having conversations with Oxford, the capital markets are quite difficult at the moment so it's good to work with someone like Oxford who can provide additional capital to help bridge across clinical studies.

As far as I can see they have two milestones left to hit; at least 1 of 10 meeting the primary endpoint in the NSCLC group and dosing the first patient in the bavencio combination trial.

Based on how well all the trials have gone to date I'm positive on them hitting them.
