That's great poker but it's not a major component of our supply in reality. Plus you have other infrastructure needed when it's not windy which is a huge cost. We are still around 75% non renewables plus our electricity costs far more than in the USA/China which is a huge kick in the nuts for manufacturing, consumers and the poor.

Agree but co2 is not a harmful gas it's the gas from which every atom of carbon in your body originates. This idea it's the planets devil is as preposterous as pretending water creates desserts. C3 plants need co2 around 1000 to 2000 ppm they are starved at current 400ppm level which on a geologic scales are very low. Nox, sulphur dioxide etc are pollutants but co2 is a gas without which there would be no life on earth. This is why there has been massive global greening as we have increased the levels from 280 to 400ppm. Global greening has been very good for life on earth inspite of the ridiculous campaign by alarmists against it.

If you believe co2 is the devil (even though all our carbon in our bodies comes from there via plants) then nuclear power is the best option. Moreover had we not frittered billions on childish Cinderella solution such as bio fuel, windmills and solar panels and instead used that money to research nuclear fusion I'm fairly certain we'd be already there.

Let's go back to wood gas Jamesroo an "amazing" bio fuel. Nazi Germany was using it in ww2 when they ran out of oil.

Snige do you think if we double this trace gas co2 to 800ppm, the carbon from which plants have kindly extracted to make carbon based food to create you, do you think the temp of earth would double? You seem blissfully unaware like every politician that absorption of infra red by co2 is logarithmic not linear, which is why it's such an incredibly weak green house gas when compared either to methane or water vapour.
