Uphigher the fundamentals of this company are strong. The market us using the current uncertainty to dick around with the share price. The share trades at 40% discount to fair or normal value. A pretty severe recession is therefore priced in here. Personally I don't think brexit will cause any slow down in growth, in fact once out growth will pick up dramatically as we are no longer forced to use the EU closed shop.

Asperger a 40% discount assumes a huge amount of pessimism. I don't buy that. The next crisis won't look like the lastbthey never do. The issue in the USA at the moment is the republicans lettting the deficit get out of control. 4/5 years down the line that may well be the cause of the next crisis or the euro imploding. Asperger with the rate rise inpriving NIM likely net profit is more like 5.1bn for the 2018. So for once you are being a tad pessimistic. Forward Pe ratio is around about 7.9 on this basis 12/13 would be a normal valuation. Lloyd's is therefore roughly 40% undervalued at the moment.

Not really the question at hand is why on earth would the UK pay 12bn pounds a year net for the "privelage" of a 65bn pound trade deficit. UK exports to EU 241bn. Membership fee 12bn. Cost of tariffs on WTO schedule average 3%=7.3bn. Those tariffs would be paid by EU citizens abyway. Here's a thought why don't we just subsidise our industry 10 billion a year and forget this rabble! Spot on LTi. May cannot negotiate for toffee. How we allowed those clowns to dictate terms is beyond belief. We pay them a billion a month to be in a club we run a colossal trade deficit with. Said club locks us in a wretched customs union that makes food and clothing 20% more expensive. Why oh why we would want to stay in this god only knows.
