Audioboom has increased its average weekly downloads and average weekly users compared to June. Wondery and Audacy numbers have decreased.

Don’t be in any doubt that Audioboom is performing better than its peers.

Management, directors and major shareholders will not allow the continued undervaluation of the company as in the current share price

Is an update due? The H1 trading financials were released only 2 weeks ago.

An interesting article in the Sunday Times Business Section today on ACAST.

UK revenue last year was GBP53m, losing GBP5.8m and employing 95 UK based employees.

Nasdaq Stockholm give roughly a 2x annual revenue value to ACAST.

Makes you realise how far behind AIM is with a current value of Audiboom at 9 months revenue.

Unusually high packets of buying and the very sudden increase in the price must indicate that there’s a significant change in the background wouldn’t you think.

Institutions investing would be a huge key to unlock value of Audioboom. Not only would the buying add momentum but importantly be a buffer against the swings caused by short term market trading

Exactly, a minority are orchestrating and have been for sometime. The important thing here is that management are very very frustrated that the business is doing the talking but against a brick wall of a market. They will do something I’m certain. If NASDAQ has a minimum market Cap entry of USD75 that’s USD4.5 a share or GBP3.50. That’ll be a breeze based on how Spotify etc are valued.

That’s my point LosingLess. The business fundamentals of Audiboom are excellents as displayed in H1 financials. The future is exciting and FY24 will surpass forecast. Stuart Last has given guidance in his report. It is a hard kernel, minority for sure, who are holding the majority of shareholders to ransom. Bearhuntr3 has pointed this out.

Growingballs has a theory but I don’t think it’s true. There is no chance a significant shareholder and board member would risk any sort of dealings in the shares which were no legitimate. We all know the potential penalties.

I’ll repeat if I may. The company is in a mature state and growing. Management have done a really good job in all respects since Tobin and Last took over. They are not going to see their hard work and investment wasted by AIM dysfunctionality.

Exactly why Audioboom has to extricate itself from this asylum. A serious business can’t continue to be judged and valued on such behaviour.

In my opinion there will be a rush at some time soon for those who have loaned shares to get them back.

Management have decisions to make and they will do the best thing possible to maximise shareholders value. They are heavily invested.

The H1 financials were perhaps the best produced by management and all some posters could decry were share options and Apple IOS affects. Totally disregarding a list of positives reported and a very encouraging view of the remaining performance for 2024

Audioboom has now been around as a public company on AIM for 10 years. It is past a start up stage and is now becoming a mature business in a growing market. However traders are still heavily involved and their tactics remain the same over the years and garnered by a vindictiveness which is ever present on AIM.

Well Phil01 has it right bearhuntr3. All the financial information has always been given on time , clear and in fact on a conservative basis. The company takes one of provision last year and highlights the fact but 404 thinks this is being hidden.

Correct Cigam. An investor needs to see the trend of a company’s business. One off charges are openly and highlighted by Audiboom. If an investor wants to deduct such non operating costs then the information is there. The market wants trends and that why analysts use EBITDA.

Let 404 keep to his bookkeeping mentality.

Spotify Technology EBITDA for the twelve months ending March 31, 2024 was $0.025B, a 103.67% decline year-over-year. Spotify Technology 2023 annual EBITDA was $-0.312B, a 39.38% decline from 2022. Spotify Technology 2022 annual EBITDA was $-0.514B, a 296.64% decline from 2021.

It is used extensively as a valuation technique, often to find attractive takeover candidates for a merger or acquisition. Commonly, a business with a low EBITDA multiple can be a good candidate for acquisition.

EBITDA is used extensively especially to find the underlying performance of a business.

Of course compare to net profit to calculate a highly leveraged company. But Audiboom has no debt and no interest.
