Thé company announced last month that revenue for 2024 would be over USD 73m but at the same announced a 50pc increase in forecast profit. If Bryce prefers to focus on revenue and not even mention increased profitability that’s up to him. 2024 revenue will show a 10pc increase over 2023. Management is being very open.

Bryce joined yesterday and posted first message this morning. His intentions are clear based on his remarks.

The closing price yesterday was based on a closing price which was 27.5p above the market price. This morning’s opening price is the reversal.

The current price of £4.03 represents a valuation on one times 2025 forecast revenue. Let that sink in. Company is worth at least triple and I’m sure trading Update in next few days will provide credence to an upgrade.

Perfect synopsis Rifkin and much along the lines of what most here believe. I don’t think independence is management’s main aim. They want to get the market price to a realistic level so that a buyer can justify an offer at a health premium.

Impossible that AB is not on the radar of a major media company which wants an immediate presence in the podcast sector. It’s on a gold plate.

A buyer would like this at £5 or £6 a share so that it can justify a minimum bid of £10. Cavendish valuation of £13 may yet be achieved.

Audioboom being mentioned in the article is massive. The journalist has recognized that AB is the biggest independent podcast network that would be available to one of these predators.

I’d like to reiterate the information from management which I posted last week. After distraction from some posters this is an important step in the shareholding balance of the company. It’s probably difficult to get shares in the market and given that institutions want a meaningful holding this new interest from an institution is important. They will have done due diligence and seen AB as a key player in the ever growing podcasting sector.
