Quick recap - RGM and UKCR invest in Rosa coal mine through Vali Carbon Corporation. Regency to acquire a 20% stake
VCC is registered in delaware so no shareholder/director info available. Nice and hush hush.
UKCR has Stephen Moscicki and David Winduss as directors. UKCR was set up while Winduss was Head of Acquisitions at Worthington. They are both directors of Gem Holdings, with Gem incorporated in Jan 2016, and Winduss joining 21 Dec 16. There are 4 shareholders of Gem Holding listed, Moscicki, Winduss (worthington team) and the two layers who were also working with Worthington.
Registration of charge 099765730001, created on 18 January 2017. The charge is held by Bia Resources plc. I will assume this is for a loan of approx 200k
Regency said the paperwork for VCC deal will be finalised within the next week.
RGM ceo and Patrick Newman are also well acquainted, both being directors at another company (Greenland focused)
Too many coincidences...Winduss could have also just snagged the deal for himself of course but i don't buy into that.
As for what this means for a newco listing, i haven't a clue. Flagship? I doubt it
