They were indeed and by different posters at different times........unfortunately, he also had a very hardcore 'fan group' working his corner in a very 'comitted' manner.

This can only be viewed as an extremely speculative 'punt' atm, albeit that doesnt necessarily equate to no chance of events eventually working out - it's certainly a case of being prepared to lose all your pricipal amount, albeit I still hold the stock as I fully recognise that, as well as the existent possibility (not probability as yet), of all transpiring to a positive conclusion.

Well, obviously we have to hit oil first - but the (mathematical) chances of us finding oil is more the 75% COS indicated by Heron, that being effectively an Appraisal next to an existent structure.

We have the other drills also, with their respective COSs, hence much greater chance than the 75% COS exclusively for Heron, that we'll hit OIL, when probabities are taken cumultively and purely from the mathematical perspective.

What chance of the existent strong relationship with PetroChina, then leading into an obvious Takeover approach....?

Let's see how this plays out across ALL the drills, but its fairly obvious to look at UPSIDE v DOWNSIDE scenarios and the enviable position of Holding MATD stock at this particular juncture and throughout the complete drilling campaign.

Mike has a greater than 75% COS - given that we're talking about multiple drills (hence the cumulative aspect of probabities) and not just Heron. His relationship to any individual poster on another BB, is pretty itrelevant to most here and a somewhat childish subject to be discussing, imho

That last post was specifically addressing our dear friend Dusthaters previous comment (now deleted), regarding 'letting the drill do the talking'.......after the great 'effort' he's expended here over the last few days.

I suspect the change of heart may have been prompted by his own purchase of MATD stock!

Regardless, let's indeed look forward to drill results - no guarantees obviously, but as good as it gets in the world of O& G potentiality.

I suspect many of the most vocal denouncers of the stock last week, are now Buying in.....others will have been caught up in the hysteria and be wondering what happened.

Malice aforethought on the part of some but we each need to take responsibility for our own investment decisions.
