I initially bought this as part of my Divi portfolio but having bedn 66% down yesterday and the further erosion today, have finally sold out - the value of my holding has been reduced from over £4K to just over £1k...!!

Have re-invested that into BPC with a view to recouping the principal amount and more, rather than hang on helplessly for further price erosion - or worse.

Others will have different strategies and maybe different stocks on which to make back losses.

Still have a few more to go with my 'semi dud' stocks IK - good opportunity to clean out my PF and at least give those back draw ones a chance to redeem themselves through re-investing losses into BPC.

I think some of that will inevitably have occured, particularly yesterday with today seeing the relative stability of the 2p floor price.

I also think that as with many placings, people looking to enter positions tend to wait until the date of admission of the new shares, in this case 12th November.

This of course isn't a standard placing just to cover general overheads but very specific to enable the company to finally move into actual drilling of a potential world class offshore resource. People have noted previous price levels, when less shares were in issue but also when we were much further away from actual drilling ops.

We have a very rich newsflow that we can expect in the coming weeks with Rig confirmation, EA, potential Farm in update etc, so very much see this as a 'consolidation period' with the expectant price rise next week - as we know, the stock can (and will likely imo) move very rapidly in a single day, as those watching it jump in en masse.

That's why I'm securing further stock now as posted.

Bought some more - my BUY at 09:06:35 for 54,081 shares.

Part of my strategy to sell off my 'dud' or 'semi dud' stocks to at least have am opportunity to make up (and hopefully surpass) losses elsewhere or liquidate those that have no defined timeframes for recovery.

Dud stocks already sold to fund the Open Offer allocation and now the 'Semi duds' being liquidated - disposed of all of my INTU to fund the purchase today at near enough the floor at 2.017p

Each to their own strategy and accepting the usual investing caveats.

Glad to hear it Fatal.....albeit I don't really want to take on the surrogate role left by Uncas having turning his back on you. I've responded these few times, but would ask that your 'abandonment issues' be resolved elsewhere.

That certainly does show a lot of Confidence indeed!

Given the Open Offer price and price for Institutions is 2p, that presents an obvious floor for the current SP and one from which we can expect a significant rise with funding now secured for the upcoming drill.

I retain a holding here and will continue to do so......just in case any news does one day suddenly drop.

I'm also glad however that I repositioned some funds, regardless of how small my position here is, into BPC - it will likely recoup any losses here and more with funding now secured & drilling scheduled, accepting the usual caveats associated with Aim investing generally.

We have a great asset (better than we could have anticipated) and very well positioned to develop that and transition into a revenue producing O&G company, whilst others are loooing at and trying to promote 'tin pot' outfits with nothing to show.

Irrespective of where the share price is today, we can expect very significant growth going forward off tangable assets... and that's not even factoring in any Partnership deal with PetroChina that could drop at any time - Mike Buck has repeatedly nentioned them in that role.

I'm very comfortable indeed with this company and given the above, hence looking forward to a very impressive return as we move forward and regardless of what some of the more 'nefarious' elements might have people believe.

I personally think that now funding for drilling has been addressed, we'll start getting the stock tipped a lot more in various publications and with the c2p level an obvious floor in the short term price.

Strong buying and limited availabity in order sizes......but ultimately the price will close where it does on any given day. As molokai quite rightly points out, it's pretty irrelevant when looking at the bigger picture playing out & price trajectories over more than the very limited few hours that any trading day encompasses.
