Next few weeks for the Trading Update and likely TurboCare news. Not sure about the sale of the ancilliary equipment but its reasonable to assume a degree of progress has been made on that front. Rurelec's arbitration claim against the Bolivian govt has now been heard so awaiting the outcome of that also although no specific timeframes on that one. Rurelec's other operations continue with strength with a positive RNS update on their Peruvian Hydroelectric plant released yesterday. In light of specific developments related to IPSA's & Rurelec (in which IPSA owns shares), the outlook now the turbine slaes concluded looks much more positive for IPSA. Still very much under the radar for many investors but the pieces for major growth (and corresponding price appreciation) are definately coming together. Do your own independent research as always but certainly a potential multibagger imho.

The reverse can also happen, which is why many current holders are excited given the stage we're at in the company's development & energy demand expectations within the geographical sector. I hold GNG also & similar large magnitude price movements (probably greater actually) off relatively small trades. We should get an update on the current discussions with TurboCare soon as well as a general trading update indicating increased capacity at Newcogen & further details on additional revenues thru the sale of the anciliary equipment. The large drops across the board in the last few weeks were primarily a combination of the uncertainty re: to the Fed stimulus program along with wobbly's quite correct assertion (imho) about the seasonal selling that takes place around this time of year. Hopefully a strong push back upwards off clarity from the Fed later this week as well as stock specific news that's been due a while re: contracts as part of the strong bid pipeline. Not sure why details haven't been released as yet but just a question of dotting the i's & crossing the t's re: contract terms imho. http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/17/investing/stocks-markets/index.html Todays news re: debt facilities reinforces the strong foundation put in place now for Lamprell's eventual recovery (alongside macro recovery) back towards previous price levels (medium term) & strong appreciation over the short term off further contract acquisitions.

If you've got a stockwatch with more then just the Lamprell share price showing, you'll notice a broad market drop primarily due to certain macro issues. One of the headline shares i watch for example (BARC) hit an intraday low of 287.25p whilst being circa 330p a couple of weeks ago! The drop your noting here has nothing at all to do with LAM specifically & is purley a reaction to wider market sentiment. I certainly expect the price / markets to recover & the SP to go beyond its recent circa 178p level near term. Watch & wait atb

Someones buying large chunks at 4p with another 450K trade at 16:18 I don't want to really keep commenting on individual trades but its relevant considering the normal trade sizes here along with the important development re: the turbine sale. It does look like a very comitted buyer with deep conviction re: the stock & likely an institutional buyer (imho). Hopefully much more to come & the update as mentioned below with specific points such as emacd mentions - should be very positive in tone anyway considering the relevance the turbine sale has on future ops & growth. atb

I think therell be further downward pressure on Solg tbh but thats offset somewhat by the Cascabel news due. Always heavy capex involve with those sorts of stocks & wonder why shareholders are so surprised when an fund raising occurs. Longer term prospects look decent enough accepting the risks associated with commodity price changes. Good luck

Some stocks are just like that with little investor sentiment attached. However. their often the Gems tbh, especially if the fundamentals & early signs look good for a recovery to occur. GNG ticks those boxes for me, especially servicing the massive (albeit slowed growth) Chinese market. That'll pick up & so will GNG's fortunes & share price imho. As it is we're at a turning point for the company as the next set of Results should expand upon. I'm not looking for a few pence increase but see this as an opportunity for a entry at current prices for an eventual rise back to the 40p+ levels. That's in line with my general policy towards individual stock picking & beyond the very near term rise I expect. Their investor relations probably do leave a lot to be desired. atb

The cash position alone (at 31 march 2013) values this at circa 12p, let alone the projected value as the company push back into profitability & future growth aligned with the Chinese market recovery. A good safety buffer for those considering investing & looking for longer term recovery of the stock

As long as the Company gets back firmly on the path to recovery a progression towards that price target is fine. it would represent a near 16 fold iincrease from todays price level anyway so we can see a multiple increase in the SP well before we aproach any broker target. It wasnt that long ago the price was above 40p with a sharp drop exacerbated by the small number of 'free shares'. We'll hopefully see an equally strong upward move once recoverys ore strongly established. The next update should be a positive one & will go some way towards reassuring investors of the above - that's why i think its a good time to start taking positions (after doing independent research for anyone interested of course). atb

and a 700K Buy on the main trading platform - that's nearly £30K ina single trade & unusual for IPSA! Anyway, agree with you on other points & now the fundamental issue of the turbine sales been resolved, we can actually start working towards achieving other milestones within the growth strategy of the company. As mentioned, I'd much rather see a bigger cumulative rise thru the establishment of a committed uptrend rather then price spikes on any given day. A good, steady price increase!

Bid just went up with no trades showing - I think you may be right about the price being 'held' to facillitate the buying order - adds credence to the prospect of a party building a position

That's a very unusual size trade for this stock deanowls & quite possibly initiation of larger scale buying - we'll have to see with the confidence reflective of the gamechanger that the turbine sale represents. Looking forward to the update anyway & hopefully a continuation of some form of stake building from the party associated with the 700K trade. atb

We also had circa £4.5M cash reserves as of 31 march 2013 as opposed to the current mkt cap of circa £1.2M - a good security buffer for canny investors getting in at these levels imho

We've got very few shares in issue with many held by the management & staff of the company - very few indeed in free circulation. Obviously a lot of residual negatve sentiment associated with the stock from the profit warnings last year along with Chinese / Global economic uncertainties affecting the broad market. However, the company are definately moviong in the right direction now as reflected in the last trading update & we can expect a more robust set of results expected in late July. This one can move really sharply due to the low number of free shares & with fortunes turning & strong indications of moving back to healthy profitability, its setting up for a major price re-rating imho. dyor as always
