It was Tom Bulford of RHPS, who impressed upon me the need to look 'very carefully at the language used in company starements' - it's very specific and can speak volumes, as I've noted myself over the years.

Having had several months to progress the talks, the reference specifically to 'important and exciting times' in the recent RNS, suggests a very positive environment around the current discussions and indicates the greater likelihood of a succesful agreement, especially when taken together with the CEO's amended renumeration (in the same RNS) - that's another reason why I bought more stock this morning.

Okay Kev, apologies also for having a go - I can appreciate that your initial post was based on incorrect info, so we can draw a line under that - suffice to say the previous circa 26p level is more attainable than was previously indicated.

Regarding your '35p target on a good deal', tbh nothing since that post would indicate an erosion of expectations - in fact, it can be argued the likelihood of a deal has increased if we refer to the recent RNS re: renumeration, along with the very positive comments re: 'the exciting times ahead for the company'.

Having seen the price move previously (over a relatively short timeframe), from circa 1p to circa 26p (on less progress), I think your 35p target 'may' not be far off!

He's subsequently posted that he's sold most of his stock and taken his profits.

From saying the share price should hit the mid 30p range (conveniently whilst holding) to then ridicule lower estimates (whilst conveniently having sold most out - according to his own posting), casts serious doubt on any integrity that such an individual would have in his board contributions - imho.

Enough said without wasting my precious time in addressing trolls, whose opinions are reflective only on whether they currently hold stock or not - reprobates!

Nowhere near that level of dilution, so wonder if it's just people mindlessly trolling? - they've had several fundraisings since the 26p days, to essentially pay for running costs and updated seismic interpretation.

Regarding 'serious news', I believe the Farm in partner confirmation warrants that association, especially considering the previous 26p level wasn't even factoring that in at the time.

I remember that period well (as well as the initial review by Tom Bulford in RHPS), as was active in many array of stocks then and was familiar with BPC also - nowadays its much more a casual pastime with the markets.

It did a while ago and went into the mid 20p range (circa 26p) - I think we'll see that again before very long.

Certainly good to be holding for such a spectacular rise - and significantly more I suspect, leading into actual operational activity.

Current price levels are as nothing yet imho / experience of the stock & markets.

Looks like a legit trade, not delayed or UT - large almost £50k buy, which may very well be a precursor of the acquisition News due.

Certainly a confident buy from a single buyer, albeit not enough to offset cumulative, smaller sells - I'd go with the confidence of the large, singular Buy, especially with the underpinning of the strong operational position.

I'm not overly concerned about any price dip, as I'm in the market to secure even more stock and within my extended holding timeframe.

Looking forward to next week and further progression towards the RNS - extremely excited about this prospect, especially given the very positive wordings in the relevant RNSs, along with the amended remuneration of the CEO, which again reflects massive Confidence here.

A cliche for sure, but given the potential magnitude with the Upside move, I am very glad to continue holding this stock (and having bought further today).

DYOR - it's pretty Self Evident why this should be Rising and expectations for much larger Gains to come.

Read up on it and make your own investment decisions off that - many of us already have and are very comfortable in our holdings and off our research into MATD.

Well done Sunday - I think we'll do very well with both those Oilers that we hold :)

A Buy signal should be triggered on the stock for next weeks trading - of course, we could always get sn RNS come Monday morning.

Beyond those points, the underlying investment case is the most pertinent and compelling factor for me, hence a solid Hold here as we progress through the multiple FULLY FUNDED drilling activity.

Hope to see this in the multiple pound range one day, so very pleased to be holding at these price levels.

Chinese operators already been approached re: sharing resources - the scope for future initiatives (ex asset acquisition) is an obvious one.
