Personally I wouldn't assume there will be a drop just yet , the market will be expecting to say cineworld has earned nothing since November, this is a given because we are obviously shut , the market will assume that cineworld will have lost a certain amount of money , if there is a downtrend surprise , ie they have lost more money then expected then expect the price to drop accordingly depending on how much extra they have lost , however if they have managed to save some money and there is a upside then you may see the price move up similar to the way rolls royce did yesterday even though they announced billions of loss.

Either way if you are a long term holder its just part of the ride and it doesn't really mater.

My opinion only

I think the year end results will be very intresting , at first I expected a drop however im invested in rolls royce and they announced huge losses today , however because it wasn't as big as people expected the s.p rallied , and then has gone back down to around open price.

My point is we all know cine will be reporting huge losses and increased debt , however if mooky has been as shrewd as he normally is im hoping for a upside in expected results , ill take a rolls royce day on the 25th and be up and then come back down to the norm rather then go down and fight to rise.

My opinion only of course.

Love golf, I presume you posted that here because you feel if AMC has a bright future then so does cineworld , if not then I think its in the wrong board.

I on the other hand think slightly different to AMC future stock price , yes thier are similarities in AMC and cineworld , both in debt , and both extremely likley to get through this pandemic , and come out the other side with a bumper slate of films.

However that's where it ends in my opinion , AMC has had a huge rise because of reddit , nothing more , yes it would of risen when they secured funding , and if you made money on the back of reddit then congratulations to you , genuinely I'm happy for you , after all that's why we are all here right?.

However please don't tell me the share price is justified other then a desire to burn the shorts , I like this idea but there will become a point where amc will have to announce quarterly earnings in the future and the stock price will act accordingly , I also believe the higher the price goes the more attractive it becomes for shorters , you only have to see the rise to 20 dollars and the drop that come after it , shorter im sure would of made some nice money of this.

I'm happy to ride the cine rocket , I still think we are undervalued but a more true s.p compared to AMC and while I can see this going up , I'm not convinced amc will be over 10 dollars this time in say 6 months , and if it was would be smaller profit then here.

Good morning to all you fellow LTH of this crazy stock , mad few days at work and haven't had time to check in.

Looking last night I noticed there is around 10% drop this week , which to my fellow lth its just a set back on our road to making some nice money.

I imagine this isn't great to the new PI that invested in the last week or so , investing in something that clearly was showing a lot of momentum and then you find yourself in the red.

Please remember why you invested in the first place , this is a volatile stock , it goes up quickly and as you have seen this week it can drop also , however what I would point out is £1.00 seems to be a new baseline for us, something unimaginable a few months back , furthermore in our recent rises we skipped the 90s , spending approx 36 hours there before heading to plus 1.10 .

With stocks there will always be a pull back , I have said many times stock charts isnt just a line going up , and rather then look at the graph the last week , perhaps look at the graph the last 3 months to get a true indication on where this stock is heading.

This year will be a bumper year for cinema this is a fact , you only have to look at the releases that are due out.
We have a robust C.E.O in mooky , his desicions have proven to be spot on time and time again, and he is working to a bonus that will make him want to get this stock back on track.

In my honest opinion ANYONE currently invested even if its 1.14 will see this as a cheap price if they hold till the end of the year. I'm pretty sure every single PI on cineworld was in the red at some point , I was massively back in November and I sit here with a smile on my face with an ave 55p a share.

This is ONLY a paper loss until you sell , to you PI have faith on why you invested and in a few months look back and laugh with the rest of us long term holders with the nice balance on what your shares are worth.

The main rule in my opinion to making money is stocks is PATIENCE. It doesnt happen over night.

Hold your nerve hold your shares and come out smiling like me and the other super LTH here.

Good morning all you long term crazy cats , a nice 2% rise so far , let's hope this continues through the week , I feel the 11th is the next milestone will be the next milestone when financials are announced, (sorry of date is wrong im sure its 11th) personally I'm expecting a small dip even though we k ow we have not earned any money , that said if we have saved more money then expected and with a announcement of reopen I would expect a movement upwards.

I do feel a bit early for a reopen rns , but one thing is for sure this next year will be very exciting , with blockbuster movies , pandemic hopefully at a end in June the stock price is only heading one way.

Good evening moola , yes I agree, green days are always good days , the u.s market seems a bit better today , and hoping the sign off will kick things off for us in the afternoon when the US market opens ,

Either way up or down it doesn't matter , this is only going one way over time , the only thing that changes is how long it takes to get to our personal targets

Hi all hope everyone had a good weekend , I'm hoping it jumps towards 1.10 straight away as mentioned in a previous thread, with earnings update coming up it may drop over the next week or so, however with the stimulus and normality hopefully approaching I'm hoping the good news drowns out the already known fact we have earned nothing , as others have mentioned its a long play till at least end of year so doesnt really matter long term

IT HAPPENS. My U.S portfolio even worse today , as I always say ,
ITS ONLY A PAPER LOSS UNTIL YOU SELL , HOLD YOUR NERVE AND HOLD YOUR SHARES .

We are still nicely above the £1 , unthinkable a few weeks back.

Very true antmoss, his attitude changed like the wind and his position as a day trader and LTH , if he showed a little more class otherswould have huge sympathy , lets be honest none of us has sympathy for the likes of S.G or IDW, there's a reason for that too

Agreed , they can only frustrate for so long though , I agree with a earlier comment , they are prob dealing with new investors now that came in above £1 who in turn also want profit, however its these same investors that may decide there are quicker profits elsewhere if nothing moves here.

My advice hold , we have seen huge movement last few months , and it won't stop, we may get days like this ( we have had plenty of them ) , this after all is the stockmarket .

I also feel yesterdays budget is maybe taking effect in the sence its just getting its head around all the announcements.

Moola if I was a betting man this will end green today , just don't think it will be by 8 or 9 p I hope I am very wrong
