IT HAPPENS. My U.S portfolio even worse today , as I always say ,
ITS ONLY A PAPER LOSS UNTIL YOU SELL , HOLD YOUR NERVE AND HOLD YOUR SHARES .

We are still nicely above the £1 , unthinkable a few weeks back.

Solihull mike we had a mini break in Worcester last year , nice part of the world , my Mrs went to school round that area , she lived in malvern , so done the hills which the kids hated and west midlands safari Park, stayed on the river near the cricket ground

Very true antmoss, his attitude changed like the wind and his position as a day trader and LTH , if he showed a little more class otherswould have huge sympathy , lets be honest none of us has sympathy for the likes of S.G or IDW, there's a reason for that too

Agreed , they can only frustrate for so long though , I agree with a earlier comment , they are prob dealing with new investors now that came in above £1 who in turn also want profit, however its these same investors that may decide there are quicker profits elsewhere if nothing moves here.

My advice hold , we have seen huge movement last few months , and it won't stop, we may get days like this ( we have had plenty of them ) , this after all is the stockmarket .

I also feel yesterdays budget is maybe taking effect in the sence its just getting its head around all the announcements.

Morning all , prob not gonna see a 10% rise to day , however I'm more then confident we will end in the green today , which I'll add is always a good day , a initial drop like most of my portfolio but coming back nicely now.

I am the same as pinkeye, I'm even tempted to change my will in case I crock it the wife can't sell them until at least £2 , I'm in no rush to sell and will be here for a long time yet.

However................ moola you deserve to take profit and if its nearly your time then I bid you farewell my friend and say thanks to your contribution here. Find a exit point that suits you , I'm pretty sure the majority of us will exit to see it rise some more as its hard to buy in rock bottom and sell at the very top .

My opinion would be different if you didn't need to sell and I would be saying hold , but you certainly don't need me to tell you that .

Oh and my game answer , 115.4 after a late rally

A lot higher then the start of the day , and on budget day which makes it sweeter

The only things that matter is not the opinion of fellow investors its
1) do you have money to invest in theory you can afford to lose
2) do you genuinely believe the company you want to invest in will be better off in the time period you wish to invest for

If the answer is yes then its a no brainer, if your asking for peoples opinion on here well we are all invested so its highly unlikley anyone will say dont do it , even if means averaging up , remember the more shares you have the more money you make on each rise

I mentioned this earlier pinkeye, would be 15.5k better off of he held , he has gone very quiet and I know he will be reading these posts

My opinion now your back in , hold until at least bond comes out , will be a blockbuster year and the 1.14 price will look small

Amse ypu got out at a profit well done , yes could of been more but hindsight is a wonderful thing , you felt what was right at the time , as others have said reacess and invest in again if you feel its worthwhile.

Covid isn't going away , just like flu and all the others , however we do have a tiny thing called vaccinations, and more and more arms are being jabbed.

If your a shorter please tell me the price you got in at , if not being a holder surley you can see furlough effects the country and not cineworld as a individual business.

Its actually a good thing as if we open up at day 25% capacity to start worse case scenario we can continue paying staff on the scheme.
