I wonder why the mehhhh market reaction6 Jul 2021 11:50
Not a ramp nor a deramp just a question we have all prob asked ourselves this morning , why hasn't the market gone flying as we hoped or expected.
Maybe the market is just waking up to the announcement and trying to take stock of what's acctually going on. We are only a couple of hours in after all.
Maybe there is a cautious approach, I believe its the right thing to do by ending restrictions , however the health minister today said there could be up to 100k cases a day once restrictions are eased. They are however confident the link between hospital and deaths won't be the same as already proven in my eyes for them to make this desicion.
It seems people that are double jabbed will be treated differently to those that are not, I imagine as reported this will be for things like being able to be tested if jabbed instead of isolation for those that are not, maybe its a warcry to get those not jabbed to reconsider.
Whatever the reason let's not forget the reason we are on this B.B is because of cine, this is the announcement we have waited for such a long time, and one we should and will grab with both arms. It enables us to run as best as we possibly can as a business.
I would like to see mooky make a announcement , what he plans to do with the lifting of new restrictions? Will he allow certain screens with social distance for those that are more concerned about the new normal? How does he intend on promoting cinemas beyond freedom day.
So maybe at this time there are a few more questions then answers , maybe still rightfully a little caustiousness In our approach to freedom day, either way as confidence grows , and deaths prove to stay low this is only going up.
So before anyone pounces on me Yesterday's announcement is a great announcement, its great for us investors and great for cineworld. I'm just trying to take a leveled approach on exactly where we are right now
