All we need to do is deliver better then EXPECTED results for the s.p to grow. Its been said here loads that too much is fixated on the UK news rather then American.
If the cinemas are busy over their then it's always a good sign moving forward

Smalltrader your prob right regarding the date , I have just looked at the financials at the top of this page and it doesn't actually show. For some reason I had the 2qst fixated in my head.

Stressed no , however after being thousands in the green I'm now back in the red , so concerned not for my long term position more trying to get a current understanding at the state of the s.p.

Personally I think we all agree the s.p dropping of a cliff has been very unwelcome and very unexplained.
Vast majority feel the future is good , I certainly do and believe cineworld will still be here in 5 years time.

October we shut hit rock bottom if you like, we then get liquidity to help us survive , forward 5 months we then have poor financial results however they showed progress.

We have since reopened and have made a good start , bringing in some good revenue , it has been well documented here how much has been made from the films.

Aug 21st is a opportunity for mooky to show us we have progressed further then March, its a moment to show us that we are In a better place then march and as investors surley that's all the news we are after.

Mooky will then set out his forward looking statements. If all has progressed its only a matter of time the S.P sorts itself out.

I'm here for the foreseeable future and if mooky can provide the real numbers as and when he's required to do so and shows progress then I will be happy. The s.p has dropped at a ridiculous rate however if we are all long term here in the grand scheme of things does it really matter.

It's a common saying but so so true , its only a paper loss until you sell.

No m.m or buyer will get my shares for under 70p each, if they think I have been here all this time just for the crack of it they couldn't be any further wrong

So how would you describe the last couple of weeks? Today Is more then sage , it has been a bloodbath last couple of weeks , there is no getting away from it , unexplained yes , recovery yes but we need to stop the drop before we can even consider 80s

Antmoss I don't believe nofear left because it reached his peak , he wanted the cash to reinvest , as it turned out it was at the perfect time , and all credit to him

Drifted off since 1.20 , I have seen easier falls from a stone on a cliff , drifted isn't the word I would use.

But my long term holding hasn't and won't change , only the length of time holding

We never went bust when we shut , we have money to the end of the year even if continued to be shut , and we are now taking money ,

Been here a long time which feels even longer and whenever we get some big drops the board normally fills up with a lot of nonsense.

You get the typical shorter or troll turn up in droves to say thier peice , I find this strange to come into a b.b which is 95% posters that are invested in cines future. I guess its a bit like me paying for a ticket to watch man utd at old Trafford hoping they would lose in a stadium that wants to see them win and then shouting my mouth off about it , strange behaviour which is enivtable here and any other b.b.

The people I get frustrated at are the supposed long term holders invested in cines future, they then turn on the people that are also clearly invested in cinewords long term future for daring to question why the S.P is dropping like it is. You will be reminded that b.w has made so much , f9 has made this much and we are now operating 100% in every other post written. And then told your filtered.

lets be clear if you have invested your hard earned cash , inheritance , savings or any other form of money you have every right to feel concerned and ask question when the s.p drops the way it has. We are not a perfect company and its right you want to know more about the bad as well as the good. Its what any decent investor should do , these supppsed lth are the same people who will not talk about why the s.p has dropped 50p a share since March, or the debt, they are completely blind to it. personally I'm not interested in comparing cineworld to other business I'm only interested in cineworld and how they are doing.

I look forward to seeing where we are in Aug, that way I can see where we are as a business, what the future holds , what direction we are going in and where my investment is likley to take me. I have invested long term which means longer then next week next month, next quarter etc.

If you want to sell up because the stress or anxiety of holding a volitile share is too much then do that, no one should tell you what to do with your cash, personally I'm holding , I will not sell on a gigantic fall, I believe in the long term future of cineworld and its just going to take longer then a originally anticipated.

What ever you all do good luck its your choice, but if you stay always remember it's just as good to debate over the bad as much as the good

My original point to your thread was there's nothing today to suggest there will be a 15% rise today , and the points I mentioned I don't think will cause such a rise either

In respect to ash , it has been said many many times before , your entitled to your opinion and I'm sure of you were to put up a thread regarding a takeover it will cause a debate.

Some will agree others won't, but it is a debate spoken about a lot. It certainly doesn't help the pro takeovers when people like Jordan come on here and says ones imminent, when it's not

Insiderinfo personally I'm not waiting on any takeover, I don't think one will happen here , certainly not imminently anyway.

My comment was in ref to a couple of messages recently regarding a guaranteed takeover. So that last bit was a little tounge in cheek.

Think the last time we saw such a rise was when we got liquidity sorted for the year.

I'm guessing today's s.p will rise or fall on freedom day news , blackwidow news , or anything major coming from the U.S.
Oh of course there is the delayed takeover news we are all waiting for.

Been to a Xmas do in July,

With all the covid pandemic etc etc today's the day we finally get to go on our Xmas do.

Drinks from one , comedy club which has been cancelled numerous times in Portsmouth this evening.

Think most can agree however we express our views that the majority think the S.P is under valued here. We all have our different reasons why we think that's happening, games by M.Ms , not enough confidence in cinema just yet , the debt holding it back , covid around the world etc etc .

We tend to argue the REASONS why the s.p is where it is but all agree the that the s.p is undervalued , (fascinating when you think about it ).

Another thing I find fascinating is the risk here is nowhere near where it was , yet we as a group question more now about the future of cineworld then we did when their was REAL risk.

Back october /November last year we were announced as shut , covid taking on the world and winning, we had no vaccines available , no films in production,cine burning money every month (and a lot of it) and let's not get started on how much we were all in in red as investors, so rightfully serious questions were being asked on cineworlds future , these are the times I would of said it was a risk to invest In cineworld , I wish I brought more , I didn't have the guts if I'm honest but I did hold firm a move I have never been happier about.

Fast forward 8 months, we are open , we are getting money in the tills , vaccines are being offered to all adults , we have enough cash to last this pandemic. Country slowley getting on its feat again, and most of all cineworld WILL survive this pandemic.

This isn't a rally , a buy more shares speech far from it , we still have a long way to go , longer then I originally thought, we have a debt mountain to clear and cinemas to fill , but after everything that's been achieved in the last 8 months these are 2 simple objectives.

Sometimes we moan at where we are , but if we sometimes stop and think how far we have come I think we would all finally agree our recovery started the moment mooky shut the cinemas .

I look forward to seeing where we are in another 8-10 months from now , I'm absolutely convinced we will be a lot better off then we are now. All that's required from me is my TIME and my PATIENCE.

Haha do it antmoss , at 15 quid a point they can pay for a unlimited card, we would need to say record highs for them to be able to afford our popcorn but I'm hoping lol
