There's going to be lots of action like this for the foreseeable re yields/gold imo - I took a long on gold at $1,799 for fun as much as anything else but I'm still eyeing H2 for something really significant to the upside.

madgpol's shout of 26p is, literally, on the money for the base case valuation of Kouroussa + Dugbe (post DFS and @ $1,800 Gold) whilst completely disregarding Yanfolila or any cash build so that's your buy-and-hold-under-there number for sure.

The way they've pulled it down inside this terrific Descending Wedge via multiple half Inverse Head & Shoulders patterns clearly shows that they knew the mid 20s number will be the new bottom at some point so it's just a share grab courtesy of our seller before then.

In the spirit of a 2022 high, however, then yes, 30-something/40p is clearly the target then you buy back at mid-upper 20s and sit and wait for 65p again, presumably with Gold at my c$2.4k price, or more ...

Nice to see Gold bump yesterday for a positive finish to the year but I still think it'll be H2 before we see real fireworks, could still go nicely ahead of then though - c$1,900-c$1950.

So I've referred to the industry standard model for valuation of mining projects in the past and that $120m is right on the money for that project at PFS stage (I actually make it $125m but pretty close!).

Via the same calculation, as I've mentioned before, Kouroussa is worth north of £50m (pounds) at the current $1,826 Gold price and so is Dugbe but Dugbe's value will double on the DFS giving us a reliable/sellable NAV of north of £100m (pounds/51% of Dugbe) in Q2 at c$1,775 Gold, even if you value Yanfolila at £0.00 but those numbers ratchet up exponentially the higher Gold moves away from $1,775.

Again, if Kaemei et al can manage to walk this down further over the coming weeks/months that would be fab tvm, any opportunity to lower my mid-teens average will be seized upon.

@wraith - you obviously have precisely the same view/timelines/positioning as I do.

I'm still a buyer here as also only half-in, obviously hoping it can be walked down a bit further in the coming months but not relying on it happening.

Again, show me another multi-jurisdiction miner with c3.5m oz of costed/reserved Gold by Q2 for <$25 per oz and I'll buy it today.

Good Q and I would imagine that will be via another loan, presumably from Coris Bank again.

It is a lot of money but then Dugbe is obviously a monster project at 3.4m oz of gold!

At just $8.5 per oz of gold and with gold, imo, due to show some real strength soon after the Q2 DFS I don't have any concerns about securing that funding around this time next year.

Hopefully Yanfolia's recent woes have been sorted and we'll have c20m in the bank by the time this is really a talking point.
