It really beggars belief as to why so many people on this dumb chat board are invested in NNN.
This is an R&D company, not a manufacturing and sales company. The value is in the exploitation of the research and in finding ways to commercialise without significant investment in manufacturing facilities etc, hence the farming out (excuse the pun) of the manufacturing of the masks.
Nanotechnology is still in its infancy compared with many other types of tech but it has applications across many other forms of tech, e.g. microprocessors. The fact that they have developed a means to combat the spread of viruses either through masks or through air filtration systems is commendable. The value will come as these are adopted by other firms which the RNS implied is the strategy moving forward. The main vulnerability in terms of the long-term value for the company as far as I see it is Dr Cave. He is key to the future of the company, although their move into smart new premises could mean they attract others into the fold.
To summarise, this is a long-term hold for me, not an overnight spin. Anyone investing now will have a lovely nest egg in the future, IMO.
