If you were to watch that Timski, you would realise that Russia's population decline will make a huge difference to what happens in Ukraine.

Population decline is a problem for many developed nations, but particularly bad in Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Putler has exacerbated this. To make babies, young males and females need to be in the same country. Not off fighting an internecine war or avoiding the draft in another country.

Whatever territory Putler does end up with, is going to be depopulated, polluted and unliveable with no economic value. Everything he manages to take in his slow advance is completely ruined, like Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Mariupol. He destroyed the Kakhovka Dam, who's going to rebuild that?

He does not have the resources to rebuild anything with his broken economy. Fuel shortages are now affecting agriculture.

China will snatch back the disputed, Amur region, that includes the port of Vladivostok, and Russia can do f all about it.

Russia a superpower? Their economy was about the size if Italy, smaller now of course, they don't make anything, all they do is export fossil fuels. They have a lot of nukes left over from the Cold war altho China may have an eye on them. China will be the real winner. Sitting on the side lines watching Russia deplete itself. They will take Siberia when the time is right. They've given Putin the rope to hang himself, donating just enough to keep him going; dual use machine tools, "camping equipment", hunting rifles, motorbikes, lots of parts for drones. Putin thinks they're his mates but their national interests do not align, far from it. Russia wants to sell the world fossil fuels, China want to export Electric vehicles, solar panels, batteries and wind turbines. Can you see the problem? China manufactures 10million EVs and 1TW of solar panels annually, won't be long until that starts lowering the price of oil and gas. Probably gonna put a few legacy automakers out of business as well, VW look like they're approaching their Kodak moment, their EVs are not competitive and the demand for Smokey cars is falling. It does look like Europe is in decline, we have failed to produce an AI tech giant to challenge those from the US and China's lead in renewable energy tech is unassailable. Maybe it'll be a quaint place for tourists to come and look at some old buildings.

Ukrainian strategy is to trade land for time, making Orcs pay heavily for every inch. This has allowed them to ramp up their homegrown, long range, missile and drone production. They are now able to strike consistently and accurately deep into Orc territory, surgically taking out key industrially targets.
