The Great Chinese Takeaway3 Dec 2025 20:27
China must be very happy with the way things are going. Biding their time, planning a rug pull when the time is right. As ruzzia weakens, they are already making overtures to the eastern Siberian regions, doing deals with local politicos, setting up Enterprises, moving in workers, building infrastructure, like they do in Africa. China is overpopulated and resource poor. Siberia is underpopulated and resource rich... and v pizzed off with Moscow. They may feel their destiny lies elsewhere - what has ruzzia to offer them?
ruzzia is rotting, giving China a huge range of options with its declining neighbour. If current trends persist, China can reasonably expect its old territories of the Amur and Primorskaya oblasts (ethnically cleansed by the Soviets in the 1930s) to one day fall into its lap, and that includes the port of Vladivostok, aka Haishenwei.
China's gas station, a junior partner selling resources at discounted prices to the only country willing to trade with them.
A nuclear relic, with a shrinking population and a collapsing economy, desperately fighting a war they can't win with money they don't have.
The world has moved on, Europe found new energy sources, NATO expanded, Ukraine a hero, Russia irrelevant. Nobody afraid of the bare chested midget, sitting in a bunker, at the end of a long white marble table, with a cadre of food tasters and body doubles.
Looks like curtains for this iteration, maybe get it right next time. Not as if ruzzia never collapsed before, twice last century, 1917 and 1991, could 2026 be the next?
