Corruption everywhere. Saudi executed 81, knowing full well they can get away with it, because we want them to pump more oil. I don't like the way these gangsters are allow to permeate our establishment, making political donations, hiring top lawyers and PR firms, buying football clubs. We've even got one in the House of Lords, Lebvedev. We've turned a blind eye to it and now we are paying the price. No need to conflate this with David Ike style theories.
Not rubbish. Look what happened after the financial crash in 2008. All those bankers getting bailed out, no-one went to gaol and they even kept their bonuses. The average Russian probably thinks we are corrupt.
Anyone see last nights Panorama on Abramovich? With their abundant natural resources the average Russian should be reasonably wealthy. Unfortunately, the vast majority live in poverty. All because if this corruption.
Let me guess... Complete withdrawal, including Crimea, Donbas & Luhansk. Recognition of Ukraine as an independent, sovereign country that can do whatever it wants. Total immunity for Putin against all War Crimes.

There's something we can all agree on. Wind turbines in the North sea, solar panels on every roof, and Small Modular Rectors from Rolls Royce. Energy independence - then we can't be black mailed by any one. and it'll help the environment
I agree that 'Putin won't lose face and admit defeat over Ukraine' - he will be removed from within. Europe and US have already been dragged into this war. 'Russia will win this war eventually' - well, you need to define 'win'
Yep, that's how I see it playing out. There is absolutely no way Russia can win. Even if he does manage to subdue the Ukrainian military, the population will never accept his puppet government and sanctions will remain. This will drag on for years. Putin is finished.
what you wrote at 14:59 is utter, utter BS and you know it. You should be ashamed of yourself. I saw a bawled headed child with cancer being evacuated, who can no longer get his chemo. Was that fake news as well?
Agreed. Once this misunderstanding has blown over, either Ukraine agrees not to join NATO or Russia runs out of money, whatever - the Russian economy will be shattered, due to sanctions, and they will be looking for some hard currency.
