I have stocks in HZM, ARCM, Next Source (graphite) ACP (graphite) ARS (Copper).

Looking at BCN but it’s expensive so will add when I have spare funds.

It very time I intend to build a portfolio of producing miners that can supply the EV market. Any other suggestions...

I am 6% down on this share but that is covered many times over on other stocks (pharma). To be honest I have held this for around a year and only been under water for less than a month. Hardly a case of having to sell at all. Not panicked and very comfortable with the situation here. Of course I would like CB to produce the goods sooner rather than later but it really isn’t a drama.

Any chance we can move on from the SP fixation.

An ideal opportunity with low volume today to jump back on board DB :-).

Anybody have a brand new suggestion for the new year. That does not have last years data and research.

I sold out of Royal Mail @ 135p about 10 months ago as I clearly didn’t understand the investment case...

I didn’t buy back in and it has climbed considerably since. I wouldn’t like to say if buying at these levels is a good idea as I have not looked back and have since let it go.

What I would say is that if you can see how and why any investment is likely to rise then it is worth looking at but a drop is never a good reason to buy without serious research.

I never get around to adding more to BMN and I may well regret it.

Very tempted to derisk slightly, just need to figure at which point if it moves positively. Really don’t want to sell any but FDA is not guaranteed...

If FDA positive decision this could hit £3 without an issue in the short term, but if it fails 30p beckons!!

This share certainly has good support normally around 2.7+. However there were a fair few misunderstanding broader market sentiment which lead to a stampede.

Well I guess either way we are reading the teal leaves here but we have good support as long as selling pressure is not stupid.

Problem is with so many new investors due to lockdowns it has created many short term bubbles.
It seems if some people don’t get a 20 bagger in a few days they move on.

Each to their own but you can only imagine their broker charges.

Angle and DNL are outstanding time keepers imo but I think allowances should be made when it comes to FDA. Apparently there is a pandemic on...

Re: the lab announcements, I would prefer to wait and have all the news at once so traders don’t get two spikes. Serve them right IMO.

In no particular order. Each of these have been able to deliver high levels of success without resorting to false promises (Imm cough!)

BBG delivering a JV with Capstone @ UFO, not only delivered but on time. That’s practically unheard of in mining circles.

RM delivering phase 2 trials and hopefully phase 3 very soon. Also attracting substantial investment which is transforming SNG.

AN has not secured FDA de novo yet, but his parsortix CTC system is imbedded in huge and I mean huge amounts of research and peer reviews papers on cancer around the world. It would be down right odd if the FDA dismiss the application considering parsortix has proved irreplaceable in many thousands of research papers/projects. Having the worlds top medical boffins speak so highly if it speaks volumes for AN and his aaproach.

Martin Whitaker at Dnl has delivered numerous times of the recent years. FDA, Ema, Alkindi and Efmodi. Mindblowingly consistent!

Thing is about these CEO’s they are all level headed good communicators that know their markets and products very well. All understated but mature and engaging people. None have lied to my knowledge and what you see is what you get.

Would be interested in your top five or others please.

BMN part 2

The CEO is very smart. I think he is above board and unlikely to hurt investors and is genuinely trying to build BMN into a major player. In many ways he has already achieved this but as I have already said they are at a disadvantage.

If BMN were a horse then it would be carrying a heavy handicap. It has to work so much harder than Chinese producers and relative newcomers like Ferro to achieve the same results. From the main activity (mining) it could be argued that BMN simply cannot compete. Therefore the company is innovating like hell and growing into related markets...That is something that Nick Bridgeon at Ferro won’t need to even think about. So is NB missing out!

Fortune Mojopelo, is I believe, an innovative man and it is well within his ability to carve out a place for BMN in the market. Given a level playing field then BMN would probably trounce the competition.

BMN need to find a mine of the same quality as Ferro, Next and the Chinese. Easier said than done of course.

I will not sell BMN as the CEO is one of my top five rated. A good CEO is hard to find.

All just my opinion.

BMN Part 1

BMN is not the most profitable source of vanadium. It has to roast and process to reach the required standard. That does put it at a disadvantage compared to others. But things are not so simple...

BMN can currently produce a lot of vanadium to serve current needs. It is already ramping up investment to increase production and so the future looks steady and secure.

However. The fly in the ointment is the Chinese who are securing their own supplies and hence control the V price. In certain market conditions it can hurt BMN’s bottom line.

However! The rest of the world will not take that lying down. As we know Sir Mick Davis has invested in Ferro Resources who own a huge open vanadium asset in Kazakhstan. This resource is superior to BMN’s as they need not roast it and is cheaper to produce. The production is slight but if production can be increased then Ferro will have a big day on the price of vanadium.

Think of Ferro as Mercedes F1 or Red Bull Racing and think of BMN as Ferrari. But remember, BMN are already doing it and Ferro is hoping too!

Just to add Micks other investment (Next Resource TSX) has a smaller Vanadium resource equal to Ferros and therefore superior to BMN’s.

What does this all mean? It means will be BMN less profitable if the others fulfill potential. Additionally as BMN have to roast their Vanadium they are a carbon producer.
