RE: Ownership5 Dec 2020 15:43
researcher1,
Happy to concede outright following your observation that we cannot know accuracy and dates based on MS. These may well not be as credible as they first appear. I would add that Jupiter are listed as an Institution AND a fund as are some others (see notes from Angle website below). It is worth noting that Jupiter need only need sell the figures stated under Institution and Funds to hold under 5%. It is a bit of a moving target so I guess we wont really know until we know!
I managed to get this information from Angles website although it does not clarify Jupiter's position. Note the caveats listed by Angle:
Significant Shareholders (>3%) Date Amount Holding %
Conifer Management LLC 16/06/2020 12,032,522 6.96%
Legal & General 09/09/2020 10,369,092 6.00%
Dermot Keane 16/11/2020 12,777,088 5.93%
Jupiter Asset Management Limited 20/11/2020 tbc(*) <5%
FIL Limited 20/11/2020 tbc(*) <5%
Andrew Newland 16/11/2020 7,054,686 3.28%
The shareholder positions shown above are accurate according to the formal independent Section 793 analysis undertaken on behalf of the Company by Argus Vickers as at 31 August 2020 modified for any known changes in shareholdings including from analysis of the Company’s Link Asset Share Portal, notified TR-1 forms (*) and known issues of shares as at the date stated for each shareholder. Prior to 16 November 2020 there were 172,796,483 shares in issue.
These shareholdings may differ from those shown on external electronic platforms, which are based solely on shareholder TR-1 disclosures, because (i) fund managers may hold shares in multiple separate funds where part holdings are considered below disclosure requirement levels (ii) fund managers may not hold all of the voting rights of the shares (iii) some fund managers have exemption status under EU rules not to disclose TR-1 holdings under 5% (rather than 3%) and (iv) external electronic platforms may not be up-to-date with new shareholder positions.
