Very strange trading pattern today.

8am - midday : 2,909,347 shares traded in 81 trades, lots of them round number trades.

midday - 3pm : 21,157 shares traded in 4 trades, no round number trades.

It's not a pre-bank holiday thing, no other share I'm looking at is like this. Very odd.

I'm happy all the holders are seeing this bounce, but I just can't agree with your subject line. I won't list everything out here, it's all well known, but I have zero trust in anything RF says.

I know many people are expecting a smooth path to regular 10,000 tonne per month ore deliveries once the road is finished. Many people are expecting great expansion at Molulu, US loans, M&A activity (anyone remember the 5 countries, 5 mines plan that RF talked about in 2022 ?), buying a processing plant etc. etc. - I just can't see any of that being in any way smooth.

The only thing that would turn this share from a trade into a long term hold would be trust in the management, and rightly or wrongly, I don't have that.

Haha, not but if it was him he sold today at 5.05p, just a few thousand profit for him. Perhaps he’s cutting all links with CRTM and just has to use them ?

If he does the same with the million he holds it’ll bring any rise to a sharp halt.

I got out this afternoon after that delayed sell was announced. In yesterday, out today, 15% profit - I'm happy enough, although I thought it'd run further.

I suspect that sell was Anthony Eastman, as he had 750,000 5p warrants. During the recent warrant re-pricing, he also had another batch of 1,000,000 10p warrants repriced to 5p, so if that was him, there may be another 1,000,000 sell coming very soon.

Just a guess, and I might be totally wrong, but I didn't want to take the chance of that landing tomorrow, so thought I'd get out.

CRTM has only had 1 day since October 2023 with this sort of volume - and that was the day after RF disclosed his previously undisclosed sales.

Even that 1 day in October was unusual - it was then back in July 2023 before this sort of volume was seen.

Very unusual - and the trading day is only just over half way through.

I got in yesterday at 4.8p when it looked like a bounce might starting. I don't intend to hold for long, but this could be a good run up as very few long term holders would want to be selling at these prices.

I agree, CRTM might come good - it's got to be worth something in the right hands, and at a £3m market cap it's due the bounce it's seeing today based on copper sentiment alone. I'd say it's 50/50 on whether it crashes before getting into any regular meaningful production though, or just limping along like it currently is for the next couple of years with excuse after excuse.

Also, I really don't think RF is a good spokesperson, and for me he's the biggest problem with CRTM (and yes, I know he is pretty much all of CRTM !). He sounds good the first or second time you hear him, but then you realise, most of what he says are just empty words and are what he thinks sounds good at the time. He likes to sound like he's really knowledgeable, but I'm just not sure that he is. If he was, he wouldn't have been confidently predicting selling 10,000 tonnes of ore per month from last May when he'd only starting digging the first hole in January.

I just wish he'd stop talking about producing 10,000 tonnes per month, or talking about an $11m loan from the US (yeah right, on a £3m company that has a CEO in court for non-payment of a loan in the US). He should stick to the basics until he's built up a bit more credibility.

6 months ago the tin price was 25,000 and ATM was 5.7p.

Since then, tin up nearly 40%, ATM down around 15%.

Not a great look coming only a few months after Anthony Eastman Stephen down as well.

It was only a short time ago we were getting excited about copper breaking through $4 and today it's just gone through $5. That's an incredible move.

You might have some wait yet for JORC report. Previous announcements have been :-

19th Dec 2023 - "The drilling data and information is planned to be inserted into the JORC report which is expected to be released in Q1 2024."

8th Jan 2024 - “….the JORC report which is expected to be released in Q1 2024”

10th April 2024 - “....ultimately create a JORC report. The timing of the commencement of the drill programme is currently under discussion and the market will be updated in due course”

It seems to be getting further away rather than nearer. As "knokke" said on here, there's been plenty spent on board wages, but nowhere near enough on the drilling. There is just no reliable and comprehensive information on what is in the ground.

At least once the remaining trucks from the first ore delivery to OM Metals get through, that will give some idea of what is in the ore that has been dug so far, as OM Metals will be processing it and paying based on grades.

@InvestPest - Last night CRTM tweeted a small video of the roadworks starting. It doesn't show much, just a water tanker spraying water on a dirt road, but at least its something

At least it's something to listen to whilst we wait for :

- confirmation that the Tantalum sold in March and is now business as usual monthly sales

- confirmation that the lithium pilot plant is actually now producing 250 tonnes per month as planned

- an update on the lithium petalite off take agreement with the ceramics partner that was said to be "progressing well" in November 2023

- an update on the lithium exploration drilling campaigns that were planned across all licence areas (Lithium Ridge, Spodumene Hill, Uis) throughout 2024

- an update on the 3,000 metre drill programme in Brandberg West that started last year and hasn't been mentioned since October 2023.

Did I forget anything ? Oh yes, Happy 1st Birthday to the Strategic Assessment project ;-)

Just in case anyone doesn't know, Hadley Natus is founder and CEO of AfriMet, who are ATMs Tantalum off take partner, and who also own 3.6% of ATM.

@Richyf3 - totally agree about poor investor relations. Several times in the past I've contacted their investor relations and just had no response. Then, when I've contacted AV about it, he gets them to answer straight away. Basic queries shouldn't need the CEO involvement. They aren't a tiny company anymore, they should be better at this stuff.

My pet small complaint is that they won't publish a calendar of when the quarterly updates are released - we shouldn't be taken by surprise on them being released. That should be simple, and investor relations told me over a year ago that they'd be putting a calendar up on the website - it never happened.

Over the last few years these always seem to have a run up to the dividend payment date - 9th May this year. As you'd expect really with people anticipating the dividend re-investments.

Hasn't happened yet this year but I wouldn't bet against it starting at some point. Exact timing obviously impossible, but they just don't seem to spend too long under 200p whenever they do drop. Downside looks limited so it's a good place to be adding if you're so inclined. Can see it being back around 220p soon enough.
