With Arix's potential £100 million floatation and aim to provide ''permanent capital" to support drug discovery. Arix plans to hold on to its investments until "significant value" has been achieved and will only sell once companies are either ready to float or are acquired by larger groups. Snoozebox to press ahead with Aberdeen project Greig Cameron Deputy Business Editor . Saturday 7 March 2015 TEMPORARY hotel provider Snoozebox has said a major project in Aberdeen has been given planning permission. The AIM-listed company is working with industrial services contractor Bilfinger Salamis to build a site for oil and gas workers to brush up on qualifications. Around 8,500 people attend courses at Bilfinger's health and safety centre, in the Bridge of Don area, every year with a large proportion coming from outside the north east of Scotland. It had planned to expand the offering of the centre this year but was concerned the start of work on Aberdeen's bypass would exacerbate accommodation problems in the city. Snoozebox said: "Planning permission has been granted for an 80 bedroom Snoozebox modular accommodation solution in Aberdeen, to support Bilfinger Salamis' skills centre and safety training. A further, more detailed announcement will be made in due course." Bilfinger previously said it would plan to keep the facility, made up of converted shipping containers, for up to five years. Snoozebox has previously provided a temporary hotel for Global Energy Group at its Nigg yard. It also deployed its hotels at events including the Ryder Cup, Glasgow Commonwealth Games and Edinburgh Festival. Separately, Snoozebox also said it and partner Mears Group have been selected to provide modular serviced accommodation to help Ealing Council meet social housing provision.
