RE: Clarification24 Feb 2022 09:53
I doubt there will be any increase in generating capacity in Q1 2022, and extremely unlikely in Q2 2022. There is an RNS today, regarding the latest auction, no time line given for the Bordesley plant to become operational, and no mention of Rochdale and any other additional plants to be developed towards the goal of 300 mw. MAST generates electricity from gas turbines, the price of gas has rocketed along with electricity. MAST has not addressed how increased production costs will affect the bottom line. The financing facility announced last year with Close Brothers Leasing has still not been signed off, it appears MAST either cannot or will not proceed with further developments until funding is found.
