FG has repeatedly stated that they, Intel, co-operated with QBT to implement their solutions on Intel Hardware. Now I do get your possible point, assuming that was your leading question but your brain forgot to type it, that QBT may have asked questions and got answers that did not reveal information to Intel.

However Intel stopped making the chips QBT were developing their ideas on. It also appears Intel are out of that particular market which seems a bit strange given they could have just dropped the QBT Method B on their chips and got a 2.6X boost but I guess we shall have to wait for Jam to show that that is not the case.

I might need to apologise again. I got the impression from previous posts, some from your good self, that Jack had bought all of Intel's chips because they were no longer manufacturing them.

As previously mentioned I noticed that some here were clinging to the hope that the lack of meaningful news from the company could be magicked away by the invocation of the NDA. I've seen this with Tern. Obviously all of the investee companies are going great guns but us mere punters can't be told about it because they are subject to NDA's.

Here's a thought for you.

QBT develops their magic mushrooms on Intel Hardware. QBT and Intel have an NDA in place so Block will not get to see the resulting hallucinations. In fact the dream and its implications are so intense and compelling that Intel pulls the plug, end of lines its technology and closes down further development.

Doesn't seem very rational to me. QBT gives Intel the Golden Goose and Intel blows itself up 🤔.

On the subject of Intel telling QBT how to do it that's the sort of thing semiconductor manufacturers do if they want to sell their silicon. They produce data sheets and application notes. Gosh. They even have deskloads of application engineers and sales droids online to help you build your application using their product.

I must admit... You've got me there. No doubt Intel has an NDA, one of the last vestiges of hope for dreamers, with QBT so Block will get to suck dry air. Unless they Reverse Engineer the QBT technology in the same way QBT is trying to Reverse Engineer the technology from BitMain.

It's all a bit Dog eat Dog out there. Let's hope everyone understands the concept of clean room development and QBT gets their Patents Granted. More on that, as promised, tomorrow. You will probably be disappointed but I am going to give an interpretation and a prediction or rather challenge that is going to cast further doubt on the honesty of QBT.

That still leaves you with the thorny problem that Mr Dorsey and Block have stated, as mentioned by yourself, that they are going to Open Source their technology. Apparently this is to democratise access to mining hardware for the masses.

This is an Open Source Initiative instigated by Intel. Those are the people who sold Jack all of the IC's that should have been owned by QBT.

Intel has previous form in this Open Source game.

Naturally the Tern cheerleaders insisted that because Device Authority had contributed to FIDO they now owned all the FIDO.

Sounds good? Unfortunately the FIDO Alliance specifically excludes the adoption of proprietary, licensed or patent protected technology from the standard unless all rights are revoked. It would not be Open Source otherwise.

Now Nasty Jack, who has bought up all of Intel's chips , is also proposing to Open Source his tools and technology. Perhaps Nasty Jack has also taken some advice from Intel, who have done this before, as to how to go about doing that. Indeed given Nasty Jack likely does not have access to a 3nm foundry maybe Intel will be lending him one.

The whole point of this for Intel, and Nasty Jack, is that they get to sell more Silicon. That's what semiconductor manufacturers do and if you are big you don't mind if others tag along. Especially if they have to Open Source their own baubles.

Unfortunately QBT as they have repeatedly demonstrated want to keep hold of their, unproven, precious and that is the antithesis of the direction that it would appear Jack and possibly Intel are moving in. As a result I think that door has been slammed shut.

Before you go off on a froth about the apparent disdain for people who have NVQs the level of qualification is no indication of capabilities.

You are right. I don't have much history. Unfortunately I have tangled with bullies on forums such as this who make all sorts of wild and unsubstantiated claims about the companies. Generally the emptiest vessels are those who have nothing to say and rapidly descend into accusations of shorting, working for a competitor, being a disgruntled ex-employee, looking for a way back in and so the list goes on to questions about mental health and sexuality.

I dropped in on QBT because it appeared on the toplists during the most recent spike. You will have noticed that I have some experience of the Patent System. I am an amateur however I know enough to make the right kind of noises. I also know enough to make noises about other things. My, failed, background is in Science, IT and Electronics. As far as you need be concerned that means I have a NVQ.

I think you and others may have realised that whilst I appear to know some of the words and can string them together in what looks like the right order I do not have the knowledge or historical experience that you have.

As you suggest it makes sense that QBT should, and indeed has suggested as much, try to cover all the bases. I also take your point about the execution of that goal. Intel does appear to be the low hanging fruit in as much as FG has said QBT has been allowed to look under the bonnet whilst it seems Bitmain is not being so open with their technology.

I note your question mark over the "Ready to Go." As things stand there still appear to be major problems with proof in respect of that. If Jack has all the stock he could lend QBT 200 of them to QBT socketed to prototype boards and match 100 gainst 100. That should prove the point at a statistical level and in a real world situation once and for all.

I see you also mention ARGO. The other similar bitcoin play. I was having a trawl through their RNS releases this morning but it is apparent, or seems to be, that ARGO has always been a bitcoin focused entity wherea QBT are 'new kids on the block' having changed their spots. They are not apples and pears but they seem to be hesding in the same, wrong, direction.

Surely that's a common meme/theme on threads like this. Someone points out a tenuous industry link and everyone piles in on it. One of the worse examples is Microsoft is a $Multi Billion company. Our company runs their SaaS on Azure. Therefore Microsoft is going to buy the company.

The one by Jez isn't as bad as that but it's almost there and in the same terms. Intel drops production of their chips. Jack buys them up. Jack is worth $Billions. Our company can run their stuff on those chips. Jack is going to buy up our company.

It kind of misses the point that in time to market terms Jack does not have access to mining Silicon. Jack gains access to that by buying up end of run stock. That's just business sense for Jack.

However then you add our company can run their software on Jacks chips and the leap of faith is sealed.

Fine. You can speculate and, to you in your desire to see the SP spike, make a case for the possibility. Your question should be... does it seem likely?
