RE: They think it's all over13 Mar 2020 17:29
Well minorBob is aboutBob - just to say farewell and see some of you on other forums. True - what goes around comes around so I struggle to know what it is that caused me to get a bit over confident in a group of people that made up the SXX bod and if that was bad karma.
To add to my ongoing research into SXX I went to an AGM two years ago in York to 'look the bod in the eye' as they answered questions from some fine shareholder.
I left feeling confident; the atmosphere at the meeting helped me to invest more and even more when the bod asked for it - all gone now. I - as many that had invested here - will try to recover some of the losses but what makes me angry is that the way in which people, and I mean the Private/ Retail Investor, are treated with such contempt by the financial sector without whom would not enable creation any foundation for startups and fledgling companies trying to raise cash at the outset via the stock exchange. This has not been the first time nor will it be the last - UNLESS something changes - as it must, surely.
The FCA and our government have played their part here too and it has increased a suspicious and untrusting nature where once the game was a 'fair' one. I will do my utmost to dissuade any new investor from investing in LON:AIM companies as this is the only way I could get some payback - I am locked into a few where I hope to recover some or all losses in sxx - and I am sure that I am not alone there - however, once I have reached a [realistic] target for myself I shall get out of AIM investing and head for a period of positive enlightenment before graduation from Earthly existence. I hope that those most affected by the shenanigans of this financial market, especially sxx, will find their financial feet again and have contentment in their everyday lives. Good fortune to you all. Most sincerely and regretfully - over & out !! ??
