COdey - just slowing down the infrastructure network would be enough to create a slowing up of access to servers - market volatility at this time is not good for the long term Global economy as it simply promotes greed amongst the City bankers (and they are) at the expense of the lower echelons of society who will have to fill any shortfalls that are being created whilst the top of the pyramid make exponential gains.

though sometimes the slowing up of trading platforms can help prevent us types of investor from making rash decisions - this morning was a good example - I have seen and also been a victim of this in the past - with no liquidity left in my PF I have to be on a different wavelength ;-)

People in less fortunate position as alot of us here will be having severe trouble withtheir finances in thenext few weeks/months look around at your friends and relatives to see if you can help them out, should they require it. I have relatives who very concerned about what happens when their savings run out and how they are to feed themselves/pay [basic] bills.

My view jonesy is make a local donation that way you can research to ensure that the greedy execs do not get an extra bonus. I never give to national charities now due to yoursame reasoning. Lets hope that you have the opporunity.
