Understand your objection OldFool13 but it does stress test the resolve of the rest of the gang, only one person opted to reset. Unfortunately the reset SP seems to be correct.
I hope your are right OldFool13 if they hit Pinecone at 18p your next pint is on me
Wow with all the breadth of experience and option to change your share price the vast majority of the punters here are out by a significant amount. What does that tell us about making money from start up companies in a new technology. It will be interesting to see the 2019 predictions.
Guys,
We have 32 predictions in the game with a SP mean of 34p. Faramog has reset his original SP to 5.0p. Well he is nearer than most of us. I must say I can't see much improvement till year end.
Faramog 5.0 reset

A good article which explains RedT position. The need for 4 units to deliver 1MW and the size of the footprint shows the market size best supported by RedT products. Not suitable for heavy industry or large power generation but fits very well for the small / medium user as noted. There is a much bigger market in this sector.
Is this the MM's at work creating a bit of SP churn getting some buys in
13thMonkey that's correct, this is not the best market for RED, the high MW generation and ability to load shift is not ideal for Flow technology. The existing small wind and solar farms is their place to be.
This is not necessarily true, depending in the type of tidal generation. The tidal dam type I agree, however for the circular cofferdam design these system can control the water release to the penstocks as a result can generate on demand making flow batteries no added value. Again these generators are very high capacity in the MW range making KW (x 1000) of little value.
Whilst this is great news my concern with this high level of generation is can RED offer a valued solution bearing in mind each flow container is in the KWH range, these plants are generating MW which would mean installing hundreds of containers, this will have serious planning issues. Challenge please. I can see the business case for small wind farms and solar farms with a max of say 10MW.
Guys some real passion coming through with an underlying theme that things are really about to unpack in the next couple of months.......... Stand by for the fireworks
Noted Faramog I will make sure the November post states your 5p SP. I do hope you are very wrong in your prediction.
Guys,
Well we are now 10 months in and still on the floor. What can I say! There is obviously a lot going on but we need some firm sales news to get this SP off the bones of it's arse....................

I agree Faramog but companies like RedT need time to make sales particularly in a market as complex as power supply. DNO's in the UK are notoriously slow in making decisions, I unfortunately have first hand experience. All that said Redt now have some sites working with no reported problems. At the same time they have a number of opportunities from the blue chip sector, I am confident this will convert to sales this does lead to the next problem of supply which is an easier problem with the right backing.
Noted Faramog I have adjusted your original guestimate from 14 to 5p. That's our lowest guesstimation, hopefully we won't end up there. This company deserves more than that.
Mikemine, sahid, good feedback, at the end of the day the SP was only a bit of fun. I agree with your comments these shares during the coming months will be volatile, however depending on your investment strategy there can be good coin to be made. I have done very well on that basis. However I am now playing a longer game and expecting big fruits next year.
MikeMine, you seem to have a lot to say. What is your prediction for 2018
I think the question is with 10 months of hindsight are there any of the 32 predictors who wish to change their final prediction SP. If so WHY??
Guys,
We have 32 predictions in the game with a SP mean of 34p. We are now in month 10 and a long way off the average.

Good post Mikemine, agree with your comments. This is a very changing industry and there are different technologies emerging, I am very confident REDt have a good product in the right energy market stream.
For the British government to allow these large coal field plants to be closed means they are very confident in storage technology or completely stupid, National Grid is shedding 30% of its workforce. Its not just the generation the transmission management is equally as complex. The current national grid of 275 / 400kV transmission lines obviously connects the large coal fired power stations to the substations and then down to the 132kV DNO's. The demise of the overhead lines means each DNO will effectively be stand alone for generation and distribution. Hope they have got there sums right :)
