Polar is London based and has a Biotechnology Fund. They state “ Investment Philosophy. The Fund Manager is looking to invest in cutting-edge medical innovation where they believe the stock market is under-appreciating a company's potential to transform medical practice should one of its new drugs, devices or research tools be successfully developed and commercialised.“.

I’m sceptical about Sar’s involvement directly with a vaccine treatment. However as Thoth mentioned there could be a chance the Chinese have discovered an indirect/ combo benefit. If you were the Chinese company you might not want to advertise your potential discovery to your competitors, particularly if your well established in the vaccine field.

RMM, understand the frustration but I don’t think the train has left the platform. I get the impression that identifying a treatment is going to be a drawn out trial and error scenario, it’s unlikely the first options are going to hit the jackpot. Although I agree we do need to be on the train to stand any chance:-)
