Remember the link well. My old man had Parkinson’s for 15 years, died from prostrate cancer that metastasized to the spine/bone. Ironically the one of the 20 daily drugs he was taking had been linked to these particular drugs. His neurologist commented that statistically smokers were less likely to develop PD, he had never smoked.

If I recall correctly in the early days the French were doing a trial with nicotine patches.
