Maybe I’m the eternal optimist, but would it not be fair to say the BOD must now know, the results of the Covid research? If that’s correct you wouldn’t make the statement “ further explore the potential benefit of SDC-1801 against Covid-19 ” unless you knew, and planned to explore further??

Guessing today’s news will have lit a fire under any potential suitors. Looks to me like the BOD are letting it be known they won’t accept a low ball offer, pay the right price or we take it further ourselves and the price just gets higher.

Another quick question ref RNS:
“experimental phases finishing in June and the data analysis to complete shortly thereafter. The Company will provide a further update once the relevant data are available".

Who will be involved in the “data analysis”? I assume a number independent experts, any idea which organisations they will be working for. Presumably not industry because of the potential conflict of interest. Just curiosity really as I assume the people who really understand these molecules are those that are developing them and not working for a Gov agency.

Is that post supposed to make any sense?
Pharmaceutical companies don’t stop M&A activity because one purchase fails. Do a bit of research and look at the amount of cash big pharma spends on drug development and the percentage of those trialled drugs that actually reach the market.
