Interest study from 2017 on potential of Tyk2 for treating secondary bacterial pneumonia.
It appears this is a potentially serious issue with Covid-19 patients.

One of the risk factors associated with COVID-19 is secondary bacterial pneumonia. In recent studies on COVID-19 patients, secondary bacterial infections were significantly associated with worse outcomes and death despite antimicrobial therapies.

Sar's TYK2 is being investigated as a treatment, not a vaccine. So the lack of immunity and potential issues with developing a vaccine puts more emphasis on the need for effective treatments.
