It's not a case of if they will need more money but when. Even though some flights are flying, it will be a tiny fraction of normal so cash burn will remain. With second waves flaring up all over the world, how long before the UK gets another smash from it and goes into more widespread lockdown? The majority of people in the UK are sensible, but a large amount aren't, and its those people who will spread it to everyone else again (80% of something of people with it show no symptoms, lets just let them go to the pub, restaurant, and go on holiday, smart move that). In my view they shouldn't have opened up so soon, it will just extend the problem much longer. All in all, whilst IAG is probably a good long term buy, expect fund raising and continued near term price weakness.
