Wait for tomorrows number. You always see a huge jump on wed as the Monday and Tuesday are affected by the weekend. Wed sets the starting point for the week, Thurs Fri rises show the pace, sat to Tues just flat and not very useful. Wed is the key day for infections.

Putting aside the moral and political rights and wrongs of it, one thing we can all agree on is that these changes are going to cause a massive surge in positive cases, and associated testing. A little baffled why we aren't rocketing today, I can't think of of a more positive development for PCR testing fundamentals. Not to mention, that if we are buring through OCR tests at a ridiculous rate then what are the DHSC going to be more interested in, money back or new supply? Makes a massively strong case for replacement product. At 2k cases a day, loath to get more stock in, at 100k a day, well they'll be ripping our hands off for more. They need it, we have it, disagreement solved.

Lets think that through So he estimates we will get 100k positive cases a day soon. Anyone getting pinged wont need to self isolate but will have to take a pcr test to avoid self isolating. How many people will get pinged on the back of 100k daily positive cases? 4x the infected, 10 times the infected? If even half obey the rule and get a pcr test thats an aditional 300-500k pcr tests a day!

i agree Bluelight, they are getting desperate. You see that's the way to do it, just as obvious and saves the hassle of creating another account...

@Barnetpeter. looking through your post history every share you comment on you seem to be long on through a 'freeroll', but you wouldn't add anymore as they are all too high. You must be the worlds best trader, maybe you should give Warren Buffet a call, bet he'd take you on as his advisor in a heartbeat. Now the reality..... you are short, you feel your posting style helps your short position. Trust me, it doesn't, job on muppet.

100k extra gov pcr tests a day now versus a few months ago, and rising rapidly. Doubt their promote stocks will last long at this rate, they are burning through millions of more tests a week.

On the football note.. I have a ticket for the final at Wembley. Turns out you need an at home self administered lft test to attend (unless you've had your 2 shots). That's fine, but you put in your own result positive or negative. How many English will give up their ticket to see England in the first final for nearly 70 years if its positive? Not a single one, everyone will mark it as negative. Going to be a big jump in cases I suspect

Markets should be and generally are forward looking. However in NCYT's case it's become so obsessed with looking at the past that it can't see the wood for the trees. Forward looking earnings statements have been very bullish recently, 'significant additional revenue', expansion in the US to name a few. At some point the market will switch and focus on the actual activity rather than obsessing over last year. When that occurs is anyone's guess, but at this price it wont be long.

PCR testing is now nearly back at the Jan peak levels, and spare testing capacity is being rapidly eaten up. 70% growth in positive cases a week. Wont be long until they are forced to open new testing capacity, and yet we languish at 327, you just have to laugh....

But I will take a step away from looking at it anymore. I'll keep the investment, but lost all interest in the share price now at these silly levels. Until it pings my alerts for target levels I wont be following the action anymore. It just adds fuel to the algos and day traders. let them do what they want

Fair enough Wilson. I shall rephrase, NCYT is a cracking company (it really is, it's why I am invested). The share price action however is the dog, and doesn't reflect the company in any shape or form. Can't last forever

England could lose 6-0 and it would still be a better performance than the NCYT share price this year, disgusting

Also worth bearing in mind we have our own established global distribution channels, as we've been selling product for over a year. Others do not, at best they have a distributor to do it for them, who I imagine would take the lions share of the profit. Ours would be mostly in house, and hence higher profitability.

I don't believe the official hospital case number at all. It just doesn't tie in with all the other data, infection rates up 70% in a week, deaths up 65% in a week, hospital admissions up 10%. Either the number is completely wrong, or suddenly the virus has got much more lethal for those needing hospital care. I know theres a few days lag on the hospital numbers, but those percent trends have been similar for a few weeks now. I think the hospital admission numbers are being 'managed', because the other stats make it impossible to be true.
