Trek,
Completely agree re Gold.
Its going to be The safe haven again once rate cuts start.
Im giving Brad at OMI a little help with his mooring fees lol, love your pithy analogies lol.
I still laugh at the line "it must be the wrong sort of rain" lol.
Another one i like at the moment is OMI.
They are gearing up to drill, have previously achieved some incredible gold grades in the area and i expect it should get on a good run if it plays out as expected.
Cash position isn't great, though they have enough to be getting on with for now, and the likelihood of much better opportunities to raise down the line.
Gold trend helping too.
Tro,
Yeah, you told me there would be another fund raise, i was skeptical lol.
That's 1-0 to you :)
They raised at 2p this time, which i think was above market price. After the biggie at 1.2p or whatever it was i dont think holders would have been too pleased with another discount placing lol.
Tro,
I still like URAH, despite the regional risk, drought, elections etc.
They are due a first production run shortly, huge resource with a 5m or so Mcap.
Zak having a chat with the CEO:

Optical sorter being tested:

Could easily do 50% or so imo, if everything remains on-track.

PrivateTesla,
Thebold suggested a drilling window slightly later than Keith had earlier proposed.
It might be more interesting to read what you and others view as likely or possible, rather than collectively shouting at a poster for having a marginally different point of view on expected timelines.
Some potentially useful information from Keith, Thebold and others has been removed. A Pyrrhic victory indeed.
Tro,
Yeah several outfits vying for limited resources, to both drill and test. PRD SOU, SDX, CHAR.
HE1,
It could be some good news is in the pipe and certain "friends" have been given the nod.
But yeah, personally id sell any i bought around 1p or less.
Dont hold any ATM though.
Tro,
I think there is some lingering concerns around the companys cash position, though i believe they are funded to drill. This is perhaps holding the SP down. FWIW i have a small position.
The rig is with either SDX or SOU, so possible a couple of weeks to wait before anything happens. You know what AIMs like with waiting lol.
GGP,
On support at 5.80, hasnt had any uplift from the movement in gold price?
Thanks nom,
Its a hospital in the Limpopo province of SA, close to a miner i like.
https://www.sabcnews.com/sabcnews/hospital-in-limpopo-continues-to-experience-chronic-water-shortages/
Issues with the water there are long-standing though.
Some communities seem to have running water, whilst a few streets away there hasn't been any water for weeks.
It doesn't seem like they have the ability to prioritise where and who gets what.
Hi nom,
Have done a bit of reading around but can't get a handle as to what degree the water shortages might affect the mines, who or what gets priority and how localised it is.
Where underground mining occurs, those sites get a priority electricity supply, so aren't subject to the rolling blackouts for instance.
I was reading that a hospital hadn't got water and is having to get it in by container the other day!
