Increasing growth / productivity is about improving infrastructure, connectivity, early education, upskilling existing workforce, retooling etc. With a labour market thats open and dynamic, preferably with strong state support.

Its an aspiration that takes years to manifest.

The moves today, in this inflationary environment, just look like throwing kerosene on a fire.

I honestly dont feel like they know what they are doing.

Budget is just increasing my anxiety about a crash tbh.

Whats the rationale behind all of this, i mean it looks set to drive up inflation, trash the pound, and and increase the wealth divide. Assume they are still refusing to let their spending plans be independently reviewed...

I bailed when it first touched 3p, didnt like the RSI, was 79/80ish. Hope u got some profit before this drop.

Without checking the resistance on the charts, i had something like, lower target of 3.2p, mid 3.5ish, upper perhaps pushing 4p, but none of them materialised... did well from it though.

Had hoped all the guff she was spouting in the leadership contest was just to butter up the members...

Seems set on economic growth and increased productivity, fine, but how she intends to achieve it... just OMG.

Interesting program on radio 4 yesterday, talking about just that, growth/productivity, how others have attained it etc. Non-political, just factual.

Long story short, nothing she seems minded to do will have the desired effect, Brexit is the biggest drag on growth and investment, and there is zero chance of offsetting that ball and chain with far flung trade deals or further deregulation.

If she wants to widen the inequality gap though, shes doing great.

Was a depressing listen.

Yeah, have taken a small initial position to average off of if it looks good, mostly based on where its sitting in the charts.

But placing done, and imminent drill, usually = Win.

Will read up over weekend to see how big the payload could be to try and gauge where it might head to.

Am not messing with anything much other than O&G at the moment, other than quick in / out trades.

Thanks for the tip re add blokers Nom, its youtube im getting flooded with them on.

And Mick, if i held any through to results it would be a free carry, have gotten burnt before and learnt my lesson :)

Possibly not 28/29, but 15p is a little conservative imo.

Im not certain, but i seem to recall it pushing beyond 12p intraday based on nothing much, ok different market at the moment, but i would expect it to atleast test 20p at some point if not go through.

This isnt a 30% rise on a strike kind of drill, and I wouldnt underestimate the hype that may ensue when drilling kicks off.

The narrative is already in place around why things didnt pan out last time, so that will likely get papered over, until results anxiety starts to bite.

I should have bought more at 2.2 but this markets gotten me so risk averse... so i held back until id closed a few other positions.

Now its the old will it / wont it hold yesterdays gains. Am going to hold fire for now and see how the day plays out.

Oh i see a delayed 500,000 trade just popped up so perhaps not.

EOG's at the low end of its recent channel.

Last time its was marginally lower was late March early April. Most of the action today has been buys but the price has fallen irrespective. Am adding some but not overloading incase theres a shake out before it rises.

Gota be confident of a rise in this one over the next few weeks though, even in this market.

Re: CDL, Theres big support around 1.60. Id like to think this was the bottom, but not so sure. Id take some, ideally around 1.75ish with the spread. Could easily do 50% from there, but will hold fire for now. Always appreciate you flagging these up by the way Trojan, Thanks.
