All companies were asked by the Government to show prudence during this Pandemic and shelve dividends, the vast majority have done. If you want government help with furlough schemes etc they ain't going to be happy if you have just given 200 million away. Centrica really need the gov and the ombudsman on their side o CE we come out of this mess.

So if what most people seem to think is happening and SAR are on the verge of a deal or deals what do people think is best, a straight buy out as recommended by the BoD, or the SP reacting to deals and increasing. I keep reading how people could not sell on the 10/10 mice spike so to me would seem best if it were sort of taken out of our hands and a BoD recommended bid would be best. Hopefully around Toths 28p figure or higher if poss.

Well 4ndy I have been thinking all day of selling and buying back in if it dropped back tomorrow just to try and get this year's divvy back, but with it keep going up gave kept my finger off the button. Just watch this thing open up at 36 or less tomorrow then who's the fool. Was only going to do it the once as I am not a trader would stick with CNA long term but just missing the Divi for this year so reckon it owes me one trdecat leat . Will wait till 46 next then think about it again. Hopefully this is the beginning of getting back on par with the rest of the FTSE. GLA

Getting me homesick now. Beadnell is my second favourite beach, probably half closed off now with the Terns getting ready to breed, favourite beach is Goswick, the benchmark of long sandy stretches and virtually empty, been the Towers twice for meals, excellent and very dog friendly which is most important to us, although the Crater arms next door us better for an afternoon pint. Belford is only ten mins away we may have passed like ships in the night at sometime. First thing we are doing when we are released from lockdown, getting drunk on our decking at the van for a full week. Have a good day whatever you are upto.

Believe me folks it's worse over on one of the ADVN threads it really is very childish over there, just wish people would think what their personal and snide remarks can do to people especially if they are losing money and they are on lockdown. It really is a time to think of people's mental states, if they are losing money they do know they are, they don't need their noses rubbing in it. Oh and by the way I am losing money, quite a lot for me, taking the divvy away was a bitter blow for this year which was/is a celebratory year, my wif is fifty and I am sixty and we have already had three events cancelled on us, probably more to come. Now I certainly am no expert but I would think in a hedging agreement there would be safety nets. So if the price dropped to say thirty % below the hedge price for a set amount of time the price would drop to that price or pretty near to it, similarly for the seller to not lose too much if the price increased by 30% for a set time the buyer would come up in price. None of us know the terms of Centricas hedging but it would surprise me if there weren't safeguards in it from both side buyer and seller. I now stand back to be accused of being naive.

Han**** just stated that a vaccine being worked on in Oxford will be tested on Humans this Thursday, and another one at some Uni will enter phase two this week. Have Sareum missed the boat, or are they involved in any of these?

I am really hoping we can get caught up in all the drive to get this awful virus sorted and on the back foot. Hopefully our SP will go through the roof to 50p if poss, but more hopefully one of our products actually works against Covid 19 that would be double toppings.
