If MB gets Oil out the ground then he is a very wealthy man, so I'm sure he is doing everything that he can to make that happen now. I can't see why would he sit quietly in Singapore all day when he is so close to making $millions for himself and not just the company that he works for.

If DQE are busy then look elsewhere. Either way, it's hard to imagine there not being an RNS very soon about this next stage now as it's about arranging dates rather than having to wait for permission from a governing body, which may or may not come. That's now done.

As long as the next RNS states specific dates when the work is happening, then the SP will no doubt reflect that another huge milestone that has been reached and we will get a SP re-rate to reflect the shift of MATD to now becoming a producer.

That's what the market seems to be waiting for.

MB has no need or any good reason at all to do a raise as he stated himself that we have money into 2025 and also a soft loan available if we need it.

Agreed, they definitely need to invest in a PR team now or at least have 1 person committed to their social media presence etc.

Sorry but I have experienced too many false dawns here before. Yes, it feels different this time and even the biggest pessimist in me can't see how this could have a negative turn to it now like previous RNS have done before.

Like a few other holders ... I was anticipating this to have gotten a higher SP on such news given it has been much higher recently on no news. Delighted with the news non the less though, and some of huge buys that came in shows that big boys are starting to take notice here.

I think / hope it will keep rising now as a lot of the concern about never getting today's news has evaporated and we should soon be a producer and no longer just an explorer. It is indeed a game changer. Or it should be.

MB said there's enough money in the kitty till next year with also a soft loan as an option, so such fears of a raise after a decent RNS rise shouldn't be founded. I can't see why MB would or could do now at this point.

As mentioned, I have been here since 2019 and I have a substantial holding which I was briefly in a small amount of profit with today, but then it pulled back again so there's no reason for me to celebrate and totally let go of any concerns just yet. Hopefully that will soon change.

I don't post on here much as it turned into a zoo for bit, but I'm delighted for everyone that has been through it over the last few years with this share and also contributed with some great research and intel. We all know who they are.

Did the new UK ambassador out there make any comment on Matad by the way?

The Mongolian people working for Matad and especially on the BoD and should be all over this and making as many of their fellow Mongolians who are sick of the corruption in their land know that Matad has been held up with never ending and new requirements for 5 years now. I can't find anything to show that they have done so as Matad have next to zero PR or publicity.

By the sounds of the comments on the video link that Master posted yesterday, it sounds like a lot of Mongolians are fed up of the corruption in their nation and it stopping foreign investment.

They also seem to be unaware of Matad, and that we have been waiting for over 5 years now to simply be allowed to extract Oil at a huge expense to Matad and it's share holders and also to Mongolia from lost potential revenue.

You'd like to think that Matad are hopefully trying to make the right Mongolian people aware of the fact that we are invested and have been stuck for 5 years now to apply pressure form within.

Having slowly translated a lot of the comments into English from that, the Mongolian people seem to bemoan the blatant corruption in their country and asking why would foreign investors come here when it is like this!

This is good and bad news in my view.

Good as in there is clearly a desire from the Mongolian people for decent foreign investment to come there and to make mutually beneficial businesses with the Mongolian people and government.

Bad as in there is clearly blatant corruption, which even the Mongolian people themselves are clearly sick off because it's that common there.

Nobody mentioned Matad in the comments as far as I can see, so maybe making a few Mongolian people aware of what's happening to Matad and our 5 year+ wait for permission to simply extract Oil after finding it wouldn't hurt?

Nothing negative about foreign investment or Matad anyway, so the Mongolian people would hopefully back us and even put some pressure on the right people if they knew about us.

Matad getting the green light for production would clearly attract more decent investment into their nation.

The amount of money that they have lost out on as a nation over the last 5 years from Oil not being extracted is huge, and just because of some corrupt politicians holding everything up for whatever corrupt reason they have.

Just my thoughts on it anyway, no doubt some will read it differently. Be interested to hear all constructive points of view.

I agree MON1, we know the delay lies between the MG and the governor and maybe they are doing so together for whatever reason. We have been told that is mainly the governor by MB though, but the truth is that we don't know.

It's pure speculation to why they are doing it.

I'm actually hoping that is down to ridiculous bureaucracy or even ineptitude rather than some nefarious reason like they are just trying to run us out of money so they can then have the oil for themselves. They would be a huge red flag to any other international investors if they did that though.

I have thought long and hard about what it could be as they are losing out on making decent levels of money also.

Let's just hope we get a surprise RNS soon. A positive one for a change.

MB would be a very rich man via the SP re-rate as soon as the licence is granted, so I am sure he is doing everything he can to get us there.

Granted, someone else may have gotten us further, but someone else may have also not even got us to this point.

The hold up is purely down to the governor which I agree is ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is that the MG seem to not be even remotely bothered and / or powerless to make him sign and get production going.

I still think this will come good as there is so much money to be made and we are so close now, but I still can't predict a date when it will finally happen.

I'd like to think MB has been very proactive about this but we wouldn't really know as Matad are abysmal at communications and social media updates.

The activists are very confrontational and hostile to anyone who disagrees with them which probably makes most people just say that they support them when in fact they don't.

The GOM needs to step up. 6 years since we found Oil and still waiting for a signature, they must surely realise how bad that looks to other potential foreign investors thinking of going there?

Hopefully David Cameron mentioned us when he was out there last week.

Hopefully Mike Buck at least tried to initiate something there.
