master82 - Exactly. The SP has a long way to go based on numerous and imminent announcements.
Also, who would ever invest in Mongolia again if they didn't grant the LP?
Matad have jumped through every hoop and been extremely patient.
Mongolia need this as much as we do at the end of the day. It's just a matter of time.

Hamm - Indeed, I was just going to say that if this volume continues there is a chance of 7p in the very near future.

If Mongolia ever wants to be taken seriously as an allegedly safe and respectable country to invest and do business in, then they have to grant the LP and let Matad extract the Oil which at the end of the day would be hugely beneficial for us and also for them.
If they don't grant the LP and then still let MATD go ahead and drill for more oil knowing that they could find oil and once again never be allowed to extract it, then it would be the equivalent of commiting business suicide for them.
Who would ever invest there going forward knowing that they have treated a foreign investor like that?
Things move slow over there, but they are now finally moving. It's as hugely beneficial for them as it is for us.
Nothing is certain of course, but I honestly can't see how the LP won't happen now.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed non the less ...

Shame we didn't breach 6p, but still a great day again.

Same here Zatcha. Holding my 2.5m+ and have no intention of selling any of them with all the news imminently on the horizon. The SP could potentially be massively rerated anytime soon.

But I really wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend :)

Exactly Doc, I've kicked myself for not taking profit in the past here when this has shot up only to then shoot down again because of a raise (twice) .... this time is different though.
I know how gutted I would be if I missed the SP taking off after the LP lands because I was day trading it.
Good luck to the guys who are though, braver than I am.
Hopefully we get news soon and our long wait is over!

Yup, looked better at the start of the day but still a good day. Some more profit takers out of the way.

Thanks for article MisterPositive - Matad is surely sat in a prime position for this.
Doc83 - Totally agree regarding the SP after LP being granted. The EL got us to 9p last time, and even now with some dilution after the raise, we would surely breach 10 or ever 15p. Maybe even spike much higher before a correction.
When this SP gets moving, it moves rapidly rather than steadily.

Pepe - I won't be selling any below 10p but it probably depends on what price the SP reaches after the LP is granted.
If we get the LP soon and it doesn't get past 10p then I'll be very surprised and may have a tough decision to make then.
But ... I truly believe the SP will be considerably further down the line after the LP being granted and when money is actually rolling in from us being a producer rather than an explorer.
All of this is IMHO of course, but I think this year could / should be huge for us.

LP should be an immediate re-rate to over 10p.
Maybe even over 15p, and that could happen any day soon. Hopefully of course ... nothing is certain but it's looking good.
Everything else after that such as Velociraptor striking oil and other drills etc will push the price up even more.
The LP will be a total game changer for the SP though, and the company as a whole.
Be decision time when the LP lands as wether to top slice, take all the profit, or hold for potentially a lot, lot more.

Topped up my ISA with another 285’000 first thing this morning. Be interesting to see what the SP does today.

Yup, being a MATD LTH definately isn't for the faint hearted!
Just keeping hold of my shares until the promised land finally arrives and fully expect ups and downs along the way.
I may well top up my ISA (yet again) if the LP still isn't here in the next day or so ....
