The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
I'd like to think MB has been very proactive about this but we wouldn't really know as Matad are abysmal at communications and social media updates.
The activists are very confrontational and hostile to anyone who disagrees with them which probably makes most people just say that they support them when in fact they don't.
The GOM needs to step up. 6 years since we found Oil and still waiting for a signature, they must surely realise how bad that looks to other potential foreign investors thinking of going there?
Hopefully David Cameron mentioned us when he was out there last week.
Hopefully Mike Buck at least tried to initiate something there.
Be happy with 15p+ immediately after the LP is granted ... which IMHO would be the very start as it's a transformational RNS so it may spike way higher. Once we are producing and have revenue coming in, could / should be way more again.
Just out of interest ...
I wondering what the chances are of another raise even after the LP is gained but obviously at a much higher SP than now.
Be interesting to hear if anyone thinks that is a possibility as revenue might not be flowing in before the funds run thin in June / July?

Likewise Ojay, I've been quite heavily invested here since 2019 and so I've been here many a time with large rises and drops.
Can't figure out the reason for the rise today myself as there are no huge buys, nor a huge increase in volume.
MM manipulation is one thing, but a 25% rise without reason can't be the case either as that's taking the p*ss.
Not getting carried away, but happy to see this today non the less.

There's me thinking it was going to be another slow day, but I'm happy to be wrong at that.
Can't see any huge buys though, nor has the volume gone through the roof, so does anyone have a good idea for the rise?
Can only assume / hope that good news is imminent and someone knows about it, but you'd expect some huge buys if that was the case .... No complaints non the less!
Keep our fingers crossed that we get a great RNS tomorrow.

They are still incorrectly talking about "China" and "Petro China" and "kicking out the Chinese" in the comments.
They just seem to be your typical protest about anything types who think all foreign companies there are Chinese.
Someone did say "all 14 who have signed for the land must answer in public" ..... Which sounds promising.
Shame we can't translate the actual video as they are clearly rattled about something.
I'm not on Twitter so someone might be best telling them on there or other social media.
I've sent an e-mail to their server administrator address below and it just bounces back.

WOS - Hopefully so.
IF .... that is indeed the final governor that we need to give the green light from. He has granted permission going off the comments below either way. Guess we'll have to wait to Monday to find out more, but it's reassuring to see that Matad is being discussed and herders commenting on what they want.
Another comment ...
"Petro Matad needs to give us blankets and food" ....
Sounds like the conversation is definitely happening at least.
Hopefully the first comment is accurate in saying that permission has been granted.
GLA
On the comment below his video ....
"So what will Petro Matad give to the herdsmen who are feeding their country with their blood and sweat now that they have obtained permission from the governor of your area?"
Well ... unfortunately for us, Matad are the Guinea Pigs regarding the creation of new processes for eliminating such long waiting periods for agreements to being finalised.
Fortunately for us now though, it looks like we are hopefully near the end of our wait.
Just the signature after the money has been received according to the RNS ( unless I'm wrong? ) and that money must have been received by now surely, so it can't be long .... hopefully.
5 years is a ridiculously long wait though, I agree.
