Thanks Mountainous I'll drop him an email. I'm not 100% sure if I'm going yet, I have researched trains and staying over in hotel in Wandsworth the night before but I didn't go ahead with it as I wasn't sure on this point of getting in. I've missed all the advanced train tickets now though :-(

Saw the first showing of Downton at 2pm HNS @ Shrewsbury Cineworld it was quite busy especially for a Friday afternoon :-)

Also avoid the trailers HNS_77 by turning up 20 minutes after the scheduled start :-) I've been trying to avoid the Jurassic Park trailer for weeks. The spoiler in the Northman trailer ruined the first half of it for me :-(

Interesting idea Mountainous I'll look into it, an overnight coach to the center of LDN? Not sure we have those but I'll find out

I've always found it cheaper to stay in an hotel overnight for something starting next morning in LDN rather than catching a morning train down at peak time rates so I'll research that too, can get advance deals for afternoon trains

I've researched it - for me 40 mins from home to Shrewsbury Stn, 3 hour train to Euston Stn peak time expensive ticket, tube to Vauxhall and another train to Wandsworth Town Centre then find Cineworld all before 10:30!? Don't think so then, not without a hotel stay!

Shame it's not in Leicester Sq Cine or even better Birmingham Broad Street Cine to be central I would have gone then!

Good top up Bonkers, keep going :-) I added a small Cine top up on ISA day moving my remaining Cine that that were in a share dealing account into my ISA - to avoid loosing any shares with the transfer fees may as well add a few hundred :-)

@deltalo the lady on the box office at the Orbit told me they wanted the Clifton building but weren't allowed (can't remember the reason) but they are trying to save the front of the building

I'm not sure Shrewsbury Cineworld needs 4DX deltalo but an IMAX screen would be nice! :-) One was planned for Shrewsbury before COVID but Mooky ran out of money.

I like both Telford Odeon and Cineworld, Odeon has the luxe recliner seats and Cineworld has the IMAX screen (better I think than Odeon's iSense). Odeon isn't really that far from Southwater I can get between them in just over 5 minutes walking quickly if seeing movies at both. Odeon car park is handy for nipping over to M&S and HMV too if you are there in the daytime. A pub by Odeon would be nice though for the evening

I remember seeing Sex, Lies and Videotape at the UCI before it was Odeon guess that was 1989ish and before we got the new A5 :-) Was quite embarrassed watching that as I took my Sister and her mate who kept giggling all the way through it. There was a pizza restaurant in the cinema too although I can't remember if that was during UCI or Odeon's time?

Guess Batman wasn't in our bigger screen 3 and 4 as Dumbledore has moved into those ? Hope you weren't unlucky enough to get the tiny screen 7 lol

Thats a shame Mountainous it would be nice to know especially when you can see the same movie multiple times with an unlimited card, also with a meercat 2 free tickets on a Tuesday and Wednesday with unlimited so how is that passed on ?
