Agreed, the evidence seems to point that way. Institutional holding in BTC has increased in this dip and is probably heading towards 50% ownership at an entry point in the $30s and an upside of 150-300% this year. Do what they do not what they say :)

It has not ‘tumbled’, it’s held up quite well. If it manages to establish a new floor above 150 rather than above 100 that’s a strong step

Thanks, but your guess is as good as mine, BTC just knocking at Friday's high now with an hour to the trading bell, fingers crossed for a bit of boost to ARBKF.

It's not going to happen. Hopefully BTC will be above Friday's high by the time the US market opens ( well above the close now, possibly $38k) and that should help ARBKF a bit over there. With a bit of luck it might float above $40k by the end of the week and help stabilise ARB's recent gains in the process, plus any other good news that's due. If there's going to be an ATH then I really doubt it will come before Q3 and maybe the latter end of that.

I would hope the SP establishes a new floor now, from which to track future BTC movements about 30% above the relative value where it was tracking back in January (say roughly 150 now compared to 100 for a similar value of BTC).

BTC 'normally' goes up at weekends, when it's playing to the American retail market (admittedly it's been played down at the past weekend by the whales and fear factor)

It really doesn't matter where BTC goes on this particular day, the whole point of the painful transition to greater institutional holding is that it decouples or stabilises the SP from some of the volatility in the current BTC market (notice how the SP has gone up while BTC goes down). It might revert to tracking the commodity but that will be at a much elevated margin above recent levels. You are not going to be buying this share at your 80p entry point today :)
