Over time the miners will likely all balance up. Selling ARB on a down day and buying HUT on an up day doesn't seem like a recipe for trading success. On the basis of selling high and buying low, I did the reverse and sold some profits from the strong rise in HUT and considered buying some ARB at the discount. Horses for courses I guess.

There are so many red flags in the OP - being new to this, dumping safe/boring shares, putting eggs in one basket, overweighting this kind of share, basing investment decisions on advice from BBs, only listening to bullish opinion, etc…

When someone starts a thread with “ I am quite new to all of this” and says they’ve dumped “safe shares” to put their eggs in this kind of basket then it needs to be said every time. Risk on any individual drill is what? Maybe one in four or five? Decent chance of success if there’s sufficient funding for a 4-5 drill campaign, without delays. I have a significant investment here but, as we’ve seen last year, don’t invest what you can’t afford to lose.

Investing in virgin drill projects like this on AIM is always risky, please be aware of that when you decide how much to weight your portfolio. Theres a great deal to be gained if this works out within the available funding but equally you could lose it.

Nothing to be concerned about at all. Company moved up into the FTSE100, which generates increased demand for institutional shares. They did a deal to meet demand and executed it in less than 24 hours. All good.

Efficiency dip from 83% to 74% could be due to any number of technical reasons, it’s also possible that some machines were being moved locations?

Are you suggesting crypto has no value on a company balance sheet?

just the same as if you trade Swiss Francs for Euros, or any other currency (or asset valuation), if you make a gain it’s a taxable event. If the gain is in another currency (or change in asset value) you estimate the value for tax in GBP

I'm not sure it was luck. AAF was about £1bn ahead of nearest rival mCap in the 250, which is a country mile apart in relative terms. The rise wasn't out of trend for the SP and it only went up about 4% in that time (before being sold back on news and regained now)
