I'm not sure. The company was specifically rebranded last year to shift the emphasis from explorer to 'future producer' of green helium. The changes of board membership also shifted the expertise balance towards commercialisation (based on board members track record with Orca, which operates Tanzania's offshore gas field). I suspect it's more likely the board would move in that direction if they could, and maybe spin off an O&G drilling company for Lorna, under the East Africa Holding company they set up, which I think already owns and operates HE1's drilling ops. LB has a brilliant future as geologist/explorer CEO, but she is not going to CEO of a mid-cap gas production company. Just a hunch.

Commercial flow rates are not the same thing as estimates of reserve.

We already have estimates of total reserve, it's more about commercial flow rates for the well, and the odds of tapping parallel wells in a similar way

I agree, there is no gap on the chart at placing price, as we've said for days it was filled in huge volume of shares churned that massively outweighed the proportion of shares in dilution. No doubt the uncertainty about new shares admitted will have held the price back a bit, and waiting for news usually drifts the price down a bit anyway. But there's no technical gap there.

It gives them a runway through to the next drilling season anyway, and hopefully a strong hand in their commercial negotiations

It really doesn't, that's in your head. It often does but not in this situation of very small dilution versus major commercial potential.
