"Feasibility Study and ESIA Progress ahead of Mining Licence Application

Following the results of the EWT, the Company will be submitting an application to convert its Prospecting Licences to Mining Licences ("ML") with a view to fully appraising and developing the project. As part of this application, the Company is required to submit a Feasibility Study and a completed ESIA study. The Company has recently expanded its subsurface team and now has a dedicated team comprised of a Development Geologist, Reservoir Engineer, Technical Lead and Well Test Engineer to build the detailed static model and run dynamic simulation models to determine reservoir performance and resource estimates from this complex fault-fracture play. The results of the EWT will be integrated into these models and formulate the basis of the Feasibility Study and ML applications.

The ESIA study, being undertaken by Tanzanian company MTL Consulting Ltd ("MTL"), is underway. As part of the ML application, a 6-month environmental study is required and MTL remain on track to complete this prior to the ML application. In accordance with relevant regulations, the project has also been registered with Tanzanian Government entity, National Environment Management Council, who will ratify the study and award the relevant certification upon completion of the study."

That's the renewal date for the two 'exploration' licences at Tai, which were extended previously for 24 months from 2022.

You’re exaggerating, there’s no need. Reasonable doubt is fine at this stage.

Everyone has their own targets and tactics. This is a very heavily traded share. The surprise cash box dilution will have taken a bit of wind out of the inevitable P&D on preliminary results, but it’ll probably still happen.

And you would usually lose more money following the advice of anonymous rampers on LSE than anonymous derampers. Hopefully no-one follows the advice of either.

That would be my guess, while keeping all options open. It gives them a possible way to leverage loan finance in the US market without staking their own discovery, licences or rig as collateral. The revenue from Galactica might wash its own face in terms of servicing debt repayments. That might secure enough at least to drill and tie in their own development wells (obviously purification and liquification plant would cost more). That would take them to a similar development stage as Blue Star and be more attractive to any potential off taker. Just hypothetical, but it could work out a better finance option than simply raising shares for the development wells without any income stream. Just a thought.

It’s not off the scale, it’s a decent early stage project that should generate some revenue for some time as and when it’s developed. If it was ‘off the scale’ it would be valued at more than 10% of HE1’s mcap.

Unfortunately we can’t interpret detail just from the initial headline RNS. However, the hypothesis from the drilling samples was that helium concentrations increased with depth. So, any indication from the basement EWT that exceeds the maximum or the average helium % confirmed in the Karoo EWT (corrected for air pressure) looks promising. Then there’s the gas mix. Do we expect hydrogen, do we want it? It’s a potential income stream but it makes the helium purification process more complex and more expensive. You won’t get definitive answers until the more detailed modelling of reserves and commerciality is published.
