Yes it looks like theres a good possibility of the oil war ending. If not trump has the option of a $20 or $30 per barrel import duty on saudi oil. He wont let the shale industry go under. Us are biggest single producer of oil now but still import quite a lot.
Who knows what the real reasons are behind the oil wars. Politics is a dirty and treacherous business. Someone will be profiting on a much bigger scale than us

Not easy being an investor is it. Any guesses as to where the sp is going next? Plenty of opinion and wild or educated guesses on here but of course no one really knows.
Im not such a sophisticated investor. Ive just been muddling through since dotcom boom bust days and 'mostly' just about keeping my head above water but even I can see the opportunity of a lifetime here to own shares in one of europes biggest companies paying (at the moment) a very fat dividend and with potential for a 50 to 100% capital gain in the next 1 to 3 years lets say.
Picked up a nice chunk at 12.6 average yesterday and will try to hold for the medium term at least, while enjoying the divi..wether 12%, 10%, 8% it beats the 1.5% (soon to reduce) that ill get with my money stuck in a bank.
Thats my thinking and right or wrong ill stick with it. Amusing reading some of the posts here, even the outlandish ones but they wont change the way i think.

Caitlin i hope your right and if you are ill be throwing the kitchen sink at it but i think your wrong. Even if they halved the divi i dont think well be back there. Ive got an order in for a few at 12.80 but it keeps bouncing of 13. Dont think it will be long now though with the ftse and oil taking another spanking and possibly big buyers holding off for the weekend.
Imo anything between 11 and 13 is a steal. Cant see 10 again but who knows. Any ones guess atm.

Unfortunately the oil price dropping, which is not good news for us. Dont believe it will get down to $10 though..thats taking the wee wee. Just see the chances to top up at lower sp. This downturn has long legs. Take your opportunities and build your position for the upturn in maybe 6 to 12 months.

Could be, but the forecast for the coming months is cloudy skies with occasional storms

Yea to be expected that most companies are to cut back their expenditure for a while. Not sure if the rto will be delayed but im kind of expecting it. Well know more soon enough.

MMs are making mugs out of sellers now generally and especially here with a 25% spread and only 4p to sell. Id suggest that this is a perfect time to buy very cheaply here. Shares are mainly held by long term conviction holders, including myself and bigMJ (holds almost one third of the company), who wont be selling anytime soon.
Nothing we can do about the macro situation but it wont be forever and those not in now will be scrambling to get in at much higher prices. Silly time to sell imo.
March 31st, if all goes well, should just be the start of the newsflow and big things for AAAP, Comarco and the new company Agulhas.

All looks good to me. We knew the RTO was going to be delayed anyway and now we have a date for an agreement to be reached...31st March. Only a month away so hopefully all goes well and we'll finally get the RTO but with new investors contributing, which will mean a lesser share for us I guess but less dilution so it should even out.
Meanwhile....

Another improvement and almost a profit without the Comarco transaction expenses.

Very happy with that and look forward to hearing more news on or soon after 31st March.
