Being as the company Hurricane was named after WW2 aircraft, I thought we should give some thought to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
I saw a program on TV tonight that was showing interviews with some of the remaining 'few' who flew Spitfires and Hurricanes in 1940.
What struck me was that not one of them had a Knighthood.
I suppose you have to able to hit a tennis ball over the net at Wimbledon to get one of those !

There's understandably a lot of anger on this BB at the moment but, when I read the RNSs yesterday, my feelings were more of a deep sadness ... like being at a funeral with hundreds of fellow mourners.
Very sad the way things have turned out having spent and wasted (like many others) so many years of my life.

Does anyone know if the tax losses apply to PMO as a whole or just their operations in the North Sea ?

AM (as people have started to call him ) has probably got a pretty good idea of what's in the forthcoming Technical Review.
It can't be all that bad or he would not have accepted the CEO position in the first place.

If all these large oil co.s, like BP and Total, give up oil exploration then there's going to be a huge oil shortage in a few years time which will be great for RKH and PMO if only they could get Sea Lion finances sorted.

The last sentence is correct .... You are right in so much as what YOU are saying is absolute nonsense.

No.
If 7z IS coning (and I don't believe it is) then it would probably only be towards the
toe which is lower than the 6 well.

They can not produce more than 20k/day until they find a way to deal with the gas other than flaring.

I agree with Aduk ... I just can't see them making a mistake on OWC when drilling vertical wells being as they pretty well invented well logging way back in 1928.

On the other hand, being 100% accurate with horizontal drilling is a bit more difficult. It seems to me that if a mistake HAS been made then maybe it's 7z that is deeper than thought rather than OWC being higher.
