I'd argue very strongly that going into interviews repeatedly saying the DFS is going to be delivered by 'x' but won't affect timescales, then announcing a new location with a long rail link from the mine does constitute bad communication, and that's without everything that's gone before.
A positive development it may be, but if it can't be explained how positive, or what any of the other key timescales this affects, nor what effect this has on the project economics, timescale to DFS/mining, etc. etc.
You get the point, it's a bit of a joke
That much is true - timescales have consistently slipped, and there have been many things hinted at, which as yet have not materialised. How much was actually in KC’s control is questionable, but always better to under promise and over deliver, especially where shareholders are concerned.
All that said, we’re passing the tipping point for electrification, and evidence of that can be seen across Europe both at corporate and individual level. The mine therefore must happen, and I expect in time its output will be pushed as high as possible.
Will Emh still be involved then? Who knows, but it’s worth noting we’re currently below levels of the attempted Krupa(?) takeover of many years ago, with a much improved (and now proven process) to produce battery grade.
Perhaps this has always been waiting for the slow beast that is the EU to get its house in order before ‘pushing the button’ on the mine. Either way, I’m not going anywhere until something tangible happens, and if (when) it does, I expect we’ll go on a decent rally.
In fairness, we did get some good news mid-April, which has improved both the outlook and the share price. Agree that the lack of definitive news on DFS/Partnership agreements/Env License progression etc. is frustration, but it ain't all bad!
Looking at the share trades today makes me wonder if people (traders - short term) are selling down because they don't believe the rally will continue ? or if it's shorting.
If the latter, could end in tears very easily.
No, but they mentioned a further announcement expected before the end of April to detail 'some of the more significant issues'. That could have been the news last week, leaving us in no mans land once again with regard to timescales, or it could be something else - who knows eh!
