Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Ah, Nathan's pal here with more financial advice without checking the facts or he would have seen that the company have the money to start exploiting Heron without a raise. Jog along please LesMouches, or should I say fly away!
Nathan91. June 2023. Progressive Equity research value this at 26.7p (that is after Veliciraptor duster which would have added another 32p)
Perhaps you are beginning to see why this is such an undervalued share. Go on, do yourself a favour, buy in and get rid of your misery.
Nathan. I got in at a very low price but I'm not selling as I know the potential. We have just been given the green light to exploit block XX, can't you read? Please don't reply as you either need to buy in, do some proper research or jog along.
Nathan. You forgot the important stuff. The delay in getting through the governmental red tape has now been overcome and MATD can now capitalise on the Heron discovery. Go to the company website if you really interested and get yourself gemmed up instead of looking at the negatives. Then wait for the next news as the company begins to exploit the asset and turn it into cash $$$, lovely readdies! We have the discovery so buy in while they are still cheap.
• Two discoveries made in Block XX in 2019, Heron 1 and Gazelle 1
• Heron 1 flowed 821 bopd on test, the third best test rate ever recorded in
Mongolia
Heron discovery
• Heron 1: 821 bopd 44° API to surface
• 194 MMbo1
resource in place, 33 MMbo2
to >60
MMbo2
recoverable depending on recovery factor
• Low-cost appraisal/development
• Near-field exploration targets to be exploited during
exploitation phase with high chance of success, low
cost drilling, significant resource potential
I love days like this! Two of my other ones, HE1 and PRD are flying as well. I think this needs to rerate above 10p so we are really only getting back to where we should be. I am hoping Mike Buck will give an update/interview shortly.
I bought into PRD at roughly 5p so more than doubled. Perfect timing, at the moment this is on the up and I can see many will top slice before or during the drill. But it's worth keeping some - helium is worth 50X more than natural gas so even a small discovery is going to be worth a fortune.
'We are excited by the results of the 2021 exploration drilling campaign which, although stopping short of flowing gas to surface, has produced significant information enabling Helium One to define a two-track exploration route to develop Rukwa towards discovery.'

You need to read the RNS 26th August 2021.

There is a rumour they will go back and finish this one.
The reaction was similar with MOU-1 when punters were unsure if it was a success or failure, no please in the RNS. This time no 'gas' except for MOU-3.
The delay in testing is not helping very much, I thought all the equipment was there and we had a green light.
The rig will arrive soon enough and I expect a drill team is coming together as we speak. The what to doo, sit and twiddle thumbs? Not likely, and the rumour from the Masked Trader could turn into a fact. The sp will ump on that.
'#HE1 There's a rumour (might just be that, but there's no smoke without fire) that they're thinking of doing a shallow drill first to try and prove up the initial Tai drill that they were confident in and then do another one on top of it..
It's very feasible, on completion of drilling in 2021 they said, ' Helium shows within the deeper and thicker sandstone units of the main Karoo reservoir were not able to be logged due to poor and deteriorating hole conditions.
-- Results of Tai-1A to be evaluated and incorporated into our ongoing exploration strategy which may include re-drilling of Tai to test identified targets'.

Something new every day! Great to see they care about investors.

That would make a lot of sense, if true.

IF that's the case, that would be mid/late August.
#HE1 I think there's more going on here than the official timelines suggest.
Worth another read from the company's website;
'The exploration programme undertaken in 2021 involved acquiring ~400km of 2D seismic and the drilling of two wells (Tai-1/-1A and Tai-2). This has provided proof of concept and has enabled the Company to reduce the exploration risk in the Rukwa Basin. The drilling of the Tai prospect demonstrated a working helium system and indicated the presence of good to excellent-quality reservoirs, thick sealing units and helium gas shows at multiple prospective intervals. The next drilling programme is designed to prove a discovery at Tai and propel Rukwa into a feasibility and development stage.'
I don't know but it could be absolutely massive.
'The Rukwa project is located in southwestern Tanzania within the Rukwa Rift basin which occupies the western branch of the East Africa Rift System (EARS). The Company currently holds 12 Prospecting Licences, covering an area of approximately 1,898km2.
Rukwa hosts independently verified (SRK-2020) Best-Estimate Unrisked Prospective Recoverable Helium Resource (2U/P50) of 138Bcf, making this the largest known primary helium resource in the world. Helium concentrations up to 10.2% He have been recorded in surface seeps, representing incredible high grade compared to typical values of 0.1-0.3% associated with hydrocarbon by-product production.'
