Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It’s been mentioned on this site that Dave has stated this forthcoming drill is the reason he got involved in north Alaska
During the original bidding for these leases
I just ask the question if bp carried out the original drill and discovery of 251 oil in 1991 why did they not then put in higher bids to guarantee they won the auction knowing what they knew about the original discovery
Just
My observation
Still holding long and looking forward to drill starting to turn in feb
Good luck all
Sorry my bad !
Doesn’t that equate in value to their share price nearly the value of our whole company lol
Just on a positive rns re Alaska. And transformational news
This being an appraisal well and not a exploration well
Would be interesting to know of any other appraisal wells the success rate from these to achieve flow rate
From other parts of North slope or Alaskan oil fields
Just a simple question nothing else intended
Good luck all
As I mentioned to Dave at last presentation if we could get on board an American pr company in the industry surely this would be amazing at drumming up
Massive interest in their back yard
Being such a small company only traded on aim and asx it maybe hasn’t crossed their radar as much as we would have liked
Possibly the largest conventional oil drill in the whole world for 2020
Dave words not
Mine !!!
Good
Luck all
V111jas Absolutely my sentiments also
Very Eloquently put
Health is wealth
As was said earlier if we are lucky enough to be successful in feb on Charlie 1
We all have an average and it would be very wise to realise this back and go then with a free carry with such a history of high and lows but
Only
My opinion andi is the action il be taking
Good luck to all
And a happy Xmas and new year
Approx8 weeks to drill only
Apologies to anyone there last night
All my. “. And one final questions”
To Dave but he did answer them all
the easy ones and tough ones
If I may sum up for me anyway
Any consolidation. Coming. NO
Any cash raise near future. NO
Tier 1 companies interested in farmout. YES
Premier oil guys present last night NO
Hrz hard to farmout on a negative February drill. YES
I did ask did we have a back up
Plan if we have negative. Feb drill but I can’t quite remember his reply
If anyone can confirm what his reply was be appreciative
Had a good night and met some nice people
Good luck all
In Covent
Garden and cabbie stated whole area in lockdown looking for
2 nd suspect
Borough market and tower bridge and all surrounding areas
mickey is meeting still going ahead
In Covent Garden now and told
London area on lockdown
Does anyone know if meeting is going ahead still as don’t think we can get I to the area
As like
Many here I’ve been here 4 years in and never felt this level of anticipation
After watching twice the presentation what rings out loud to me is
POSSIBLY. THE LARGEST CONVENTIONAL OIL FIELD TO BE DRILLED IN THE WORLD IN 2020
AlSO NOT A EXPLORATION WELL. BUT AN aPPRAISAL WELL
Good luck all this will be huge if successful
Dyor
Hi all
Looking forward to 29 November and seeing some old and new faces
And asking Dave some of the questions on my mind
The cos of a successful appraisal well to production level
Rather than icewine 2 finding oil on exploration
And how far down the line we are with hrz soft farmout and where were at with Yukon well
I’m still
Confident with this share and company
And hold tight
Dyor
Very conservative estimate jiffy
Oil search paid Armstrong equivalent to 3.5$ a barrel I believe
125 mill barrels for 400 mill $
Plus is that just the one play out of 3 in conventional
Each day sp being dragged down on sentiment alone
It is worrying but what can be done but wait
4 years in now with over 20 mill holding but still positive of a bigger picture down the line
Liking it to dragons den sometimes it’s not just the cash needed but maybe the experience of a larger more experienced producing partner
Hopefully with premier we have this and also any future partner re the hrz also
Just a time game but patience is key I know for me
End March I would like to see positive drill with premier and chosen fo for hrz and future plans for Yukon
A visit by Dave to uk now would also I think be most welcome to present a full working plan going forward
Dyor good luck to all
Cheers brom
Fingers crossed never been to Aberdeen here’s hoping
Sorry winx my
Mistake
Hi all
Just my thoughts on raising funds and open to
Comments
As a personal view now with fo for 1 part of a 3 part plan on conventional and hrz now being the next fo focus I would rather see Yukon sold off and any deal to be salvaged on wind and sold as a means of raising funds to keep the lights on rather than another share dilution which if happened would ideally reduce our holding left by the premier deal to much less than 30%
I don’t quite know our cash position at this time and how long that will keep us going but another cr surely would make any institutional investor think twice with in excess of 6 billion shares as it stands now
Also hoping for a London presentation from Dave in London in September anyone any idea if this is planned have emailed Dave but without reply
Good luck all
Dyor
Talk about a farmout being mediocre is understandable to a point with our cash position being we can’t fund any More drills and cash running out
But it must be clear that we are an exploration company only not Production as said many many. Times before and with That in mind it’s the credibility we have with a tier 1 major and how they See us risk wise as getting out the ground is what’s relevant per dollar per barrel at this stage with either buying us outright and paying more but edi I gotta their risk and not having a partner or farm in and sharing the risk with us
They will understand Baker Hughes independent barrel value and failed drills and adjust farmout deal to suit
All else we do on this board is speculation sometimes without homework being done
Sorry if rambling had few vinos and sitting outside pantheon in Rome at mo and realising what’s important ha ha
Good luck as always everyone and stay
Positive Dave will ring it home
Thanks moneyhawk and completely agree with your view
I’ve tried looking for comparisons and precedents of position we are in that are similar to other smaller exploration companies and very difficult to find
The negative of have a failed drill and no flow but the positive of having a proven resource in the ground by an independent body of billions of barrels
The negative of being in a weak position to a farmer partner and fact without a fo we would probably had to have a cp raise and positive of other Large companies producing off the north slope close to us
All adding up to lots of chit chat and building the anticipation when rns drops
Like W Aussie I’ve invested an amount that is probably more than I should of but I’m we’re I am now and he who dares Rodney
And I wonder with myself if it’s the final result I m in it for or maybe the chase getting there lol
Anyway enough from me now until rns good luck all
Have just reread rns of 26 th and it’s near as damn it confirmation of a deal done just transfer of working interests to complete as we all know and understand here on the board
And can honestly say at a massive loss as to why so languishes at 1p and yet with what is coming any deal should increase value especially with a big hitter and yet no interest from large parties or institutions
What I would like to know is how our acreage and drills to date are interpreted by big oilers and as said before a no flow on ice wine 2 doesn’t mean a massive negative only now they have more info to make it flow and have seen this hundreds of times before ie eagle ford
As most on here patience is running dry but what else can we do but will try to keep a level head on rise and understand whether it’s a spike or slow run up to greater heights with hrz farmout next big thing this year
Good luck to everyone and can’t be far off now
A good post earlier about panic selling once there’s a rise in sp after details of fo are announced
With a lot of investors admiring to be under water or in an uncomfortable position
As said And I agree Dave will want to get institutional investment on board which once hopefully a tier one shows confidence in us and holds our hand we will be more credible too them
Chicken before the egg. Scenario
Lots of conjecture and thoughts whilst waiting good and bad
Patience is everything
Dyor
Good luck to all
